Vranic Homes Inc
A NEW PHASE
Vranic Homes expands offerings in the Clear Skies community
By Ellen Ashton-Haiste
s new homes continue to take shape in the
Asold-out second phase of Ilderton’s Clear Skies neighbourhood, Vranic Homes is breaking ground in Phase 3 this summer. “I have 23 lots in Phase 3, ranging from 36-foot frontage to just over 50 feet for some pieshaped parcels on a cul-de-sac, backing onto a natural treed area,” John Vranic says.
The Sifton community’s third phase will be comprised of 57 custom detached homes, promoted as family friendly living. Vranic, who built 10 homes in Clear Skies’ Phase 1 and 19 in Phase 2, has a long-standing relationship with Sifton, having built houses in its Deer Ridge and Riverbend developments.
Priced from $1 million, clients can choose from one- and two-storey floor plans; they can work with Vranic’s designer to customize. These feature open-concept layouts plus his signature high-end finishes and brick exteriors. All are showcased in a model home opening this summer.
Vranic is again offering a $7,500 package for window coverings through Made In The Shade Blinds & More. This replaced a previous appliances package, sidelined by pandemic-instigated supply issues. “The clients are loving the new package,” he says. “It’s something buyers often overlook, and they’re thrilled they can now pre-order blinds, shutters and curtains confident they’ll be installed before move-in.”
Vranic is finding a significant percentage of buyers are coming from the Greater Toronto Area, attracted by lower prices and taxes in Ilderton, which he says are 20 per cent less than London proper. They are also attracted by the homey, small-town charm. It is a rural community offering convenient access to trail systems and natural spaces, many of which are at Clear Skies’ doorstep. The town also boasts myriad business, service and recreational amenities, including neighbouring Oxbow Public School. Less than 10 minutes from North London, it features easy access to the Hyde Park and Masonville shopping and entertainment districts.
