Shona Woods started sewing when she was seven years old. She would watch her mum making her own evening outfits and Shona collected all the material scraps to create outfits for her dolls.

She progressed on to making her own outfits and when her own daughters came along, they benefitted from their mum’s talents.

But it was during the Spice Girls Revolution that her daughters decided they had had enough.

Unperturbed Shona shifted her focus and became a qualified kilt maker. It was then that a friend asked her if she would make some ‘Worry Munchers’ for CLAN. This was an excellent way of making use of the tartan remnants.

Another friend then asked Shona if she would make two memory bears out of her late mum’s clothes. These bears were seen by one of her friends and so she also wanted Shona to make some.

Shona realised there was a demand and this gave her the confidence to advertise……and as they say, the rest is history.
