Working towards a better future

Environmental, social and economic responsibilities are integral to our business. We demonstrate these responsibilities through our choice of materials, work practices and suppliers. We design and develop products with sustainability at the core.

Dedicated to reducing our carbon footprint we are working with Earthly. Earthly is a science-backed carbon removal solution, to invest in the fight against climate change. We’re balancing our carbon emissions through Earthly i.e. levelling out the carbon impact of our shipping operations. Our contributions to Earthly support climatechanging-reversing carbon-busting projects with impressive results.

In addition, we require that all our factories are audited using the SMETA or BSCI formats to provide healthy, safe and ethical work environments along with sound labour practices and pay – ethical audits ensure appropriate work conditions are followed.

The polybags we use in our shipping packaging are 100% recyclable and have had their plastic weight and content reduced to a minimal amount. We have also removed polybags from any products where we don’t feel it is necessary to protect from damage or dust. We will go further with this in 2023.

Tomorrow is Today

We're consciously and continually making changes for a greener future.

Removed the plastic laminate layer on the reverse of all of our laminated packaging e.g. MasterClass baking cards, so the cards are more recycle friendly and use less plastic.

Replaced any plastic packaging with recyclable card which will flow through in the future. In 2022 we offset 3150 tonnes of our CO2 shipping emissions and are committed to continuing in 2023.

Replacing polyfoam and plastic filling materials with card and re-engineered boxes to maximise container fill, minimise packaging material and duplication.

We currently recycle 91.5% of our operational waste at our Hub HQ. We are on track to have 100% of our packaging fully recyclable by the end of 2023.
