The 2025 Lifting Awards entries are now open. Below is some important information you may need to know to enter the Lifting Awards How do I submit my entry?
• Submit your entry through the online system by creating an account and selecting the categories you wish to enter.
• Read the description of the category you want to enter carefully to ensure you are eligible to make an entry.
• Once categories are chosen, you will be emailed the criteria for each award.
• After completing the required documentation, log back into your account on www.liftingawards.co.za, navigate to Step 4 of the "Enter" page and submit all relevant documents to finalise your entry.
• Entries not complying with the category criteria will be marked down or rejected.
When is the entry deadline?
The entry deadline is 1 May 2025, 17H00

What are the benefits of entering the Lifting Awards?

Can I Sponsor the Lifting Awards?

• Please be aware that Lifting Africa reserves the right to modify any aspect of the awards or its processes in response to changing or exceptional circumstances.
Can I enter a category that our company is sponsoring?
• Sponsors may not enter the category that they are sponsoring.
How much does it cost to enter?
It is completely FREE to enter the Lifting Awards.
How many entries may I submit?
There is no limit on the number of entries you may submit. However, it would be best to avoid duplicating entries across multiple categories and tailor each entry specifically to the criteria of the category you are entering.
Entry requirements:
• Please ensure you enter the correct category; refer to the entry description if unsure.
• Please ensure you place the main component of your entry within the web form provided and include all the information requested in each section. Including supporting material is encouraged but should not comprise your entry's main component.
What is the difference between the entry document and supporting material?
• The main component of your entry is the entry document. All essential information listed in the category criteria must be in the entry document, not the supporting material.
• Supporting material is optional and may be submitted in addition to the entry document. It should illustrate/demonstrate what is in the entry document. While supporting material is important and helpful to the judges, it is limited to 5 supporting documents per entry.
• Please note that the Lifting Awards and Lifting Africa are not accountable for loss or damage to supporting material in its physical form.
May I submit on behalf of a client?
Yes, although their permission must be obtained. You will be asked to provide the contact details of a senior person at the organisation. We may or may not contact this person.
What happens after I have submitted my entries?
• Once you have submitted your entries, the awards team will process them and prepare them for judging. Once the judging has taken place, you will be contacted to let you know if you have made the shortlist.
• Your entry may be published in Lifting Africa magazine after the awards ceremony at the managing editor's discretion as a case study, giving your company additional exposure.
When are the winners announced?
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on August 29 2025, at the Birchwood Hotel, OR Tambo Venue.
