A case for peristaltic pumps

South African pump manufacturer Afromix has designed and developed a robust pumping solution delivering exceptional performance the world over. Pipes Pumps & Valves Africa sat down with managing director, Eugene Els, to find out more.

Peristaltic pumps are a fast-growing market. Valued globally at around $315,5 million dollars in 2015, it is expected to reach $501,1 million by the end of 2023, representing an average compound growth rate of 6,87%. The low maintenance cost, seal-less design and corrosionresistant properties of these pumps are big drivers of the growth in the global market. According to Els there is a definite increase in demand from the various end-use industries. “Peristaltic pumps are incredibly robust,” he says while explaining that this type of pump is ideal for use of any contamination-free pumping of shear sensitive fluids or viscous sludge or slurries. Peristaltic tube pumps are also used for dispensing, metering, and transfer of aggressive and neutral fluids. “These pumps are designed to be a robust pumping solution for high viscosity, high solids that are very abrasive, high density slurries and liquids and are used in a wide array of applications and industries including mining, chemical, food and beverage, pulp and paper, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, agricultural, water treatment and many more.” Afromix took the decision to develop its own range of peristaltic hose pumps several years ago. According to Els the design process was not rushed and it took several years before the pump was launched. “There were several benefits to manufacturing our own pump,” he says. “Not only did it afford us the opportunity to develop and build a pump to suit our direct needs, but also to meet our stringent quality requirements.” At the same time it introduced a more constant work load and allowed the company to start an inhouse CNC machining facility which has allowed it to further expand its manufacturing capabilities. It has also led to increased

4

Pipes, Pumps and Valves Africa - Jan/Feb 2020

upskilling of staff. “Having one’s own production facility directly translates into increased training and apprentice programmes. That in turn ensures a more educated and experienced staff across our business as people are moving up and through the ranks steadfastly. For the end-user this is extremely beneficial as they are in contact with people who have intimate knowledge of the pumps at all contact points with the company.” Niche market According to Els whilst pumps only compromise some 20% of Afromix’s current business it is a sector within the company that continues to go from strength to strength. “We have seen phenomenal growth in our pumps since we first launched our product range some five years ago. We continue to drive that growth focussed on both the domestic and international markets.” He says this is thanks to the ongoing investment into research and development of products. “The AFX pump series, which was specially adapted to further improve the product’s high performance, durability and low maintenance, has continued to deliver exceptional performance, but what sets this pump apart from its competitors is its cost-effectiveness and reliable operation.” He says the pump demonstrates measurable savings over that of its competitors, including energy savings and maintenance downtime savings of up to 50% compared to traditional peristaltic hose pumps. The pumps are selfpriming, fully reversible, highly durable, easy to maintain, can be run dry for extended periods without damage, and offer flow rates from 40 l/ hr to 150 000 l/hr. “Our range also includes one of the largest pumps of this type in the world,” he says. The 150mm pump has a maximum flow rate of 150m³/ hr and can deliver pressures up to 15 Bar. These units, says Els, are ideal for thicker underflow applications. “This offering is a niche in the market. From a local perspective our manufacturing capability allows us to be very price competitive, while we are able to perform highly

in terms of availability and quick delivery of products to the market.” From an export side, he says, the favourable Rand/Dollar/ Euro exchange has allowed the company to deliver a physically bigger and stronger pump to the international market at a very reasonable price.

He says at present the company is very involved in the replacement of product across the world. Meeting demand Afromix have invested heavily into operations in the past few years as demand for its product has grown. “From a manufacturing point, we have scaled up our facilities significantly including opening up our own machine facilities.”

COVER STORY

“South Africa has a reputation for delivering robust, quality products and our pumps remain true to that. Our manufacturing facility in Uitenhage in the Eastern Cape is in the heart of the automotive manufacturing meaning we have access to highly skilled labour and expertise.”

Much time and effort also goes into improving client knowledge about peristaltic pumps and the advantages they offer. Ongoing research and development to improve the pump and other product ranges ensures the company remains ahead of the game. “We are never going to rest on our laurels,” says Els, “Extending and adding to our range is of particular importance in our business strategy.” As is the delivery of products that ensure clients peace of mind. “We purposefully design pumps that don’t have too many working parts as too many things can go wrong and they are difficult to maintain. We have always focussed on delivering a product that is efficient, reliable, cost effective and easy to maintain.” He says only the hose and lubricant of the peristaltic pumps in the AFX range have to be replaced and to do so does not require any special tools or skills. OEM versus non-OEM parts for servicing and repairs

PUMPS

Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) don’t deny using their parts for servicing and repairs will cost more than using non-OEM parts. But, they say, their parts are also more efficient and a better quality bringing long-term cost savings to the table. Pipes Pumps & Valves Africa finds out more. Pump owners know exactly how quickly costs can escalate when operations are down. Pro-active maintenance plans are therefor just about a given all around the world. Choosing parts, spares and repairers, however, has become a bit of a grey area especially in these trying economic times. It is understandable if one considers the big picture from a pump owner or operator’s point of view. Economically it has been tough and businesses have been under pressure to reduce costs as much as possible. In South Africa, and definitely in the governmental space, companies going in to service, maintain and repair pumps must have certain transformation credentials over and above the ability to do the work. It therefore might seem a simple enough decision to opt for a replicated part if price and company transformation credentials is the basis for the purchasing decision. The same goes for the workshop. If it can do the work and has the right broad-based black economic empowerment levels, why not give them the repair work? Experts maintain deciding on who to use to maintain and

12

Pipes, Pumps and Valves Africa - Jan/Feb 2020

service your pump or ultimately to repair it should not be based on cost alone. It is an approach that could turn out to be expensive. The quality of the parts being used as well as the efficiency of the repaired pump must be factored into the equation. That, of course, does not mean that the cost and the delivery should not be factored in, but rather that they are part of a more holistic approach to maintenance and servicing. Original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) are quick to point out that no-one understands the equipment or how it will perform under specific conditions better than they do. It is then really a matter of weighing up the immediate cost with the total cost of ownership. Pumps are by no means cheap, often requiring a large capital investment. Yet, more often than not don’t get the deserved attention when it comes to maintenance and repairs, especially considering the importance of pumps to operations. Industry trends Most OEMs agree that a pump is not just a pump. Be it small, portable pumps for construction sites and flooded

basements to ten-ton waste water and thick matter pumps it is all about high quality and low maintenance. Says one OEM, “Customers are increasingly opting for the best long-term solution. There is also a move towards custom-made pumps that are specially tailored to the needs of every location of different clients.” Having said that industry is still looking for efficient, costeffective and robust pumps. “There is huge demand on pump manufacturers to deliver pumps that can stand the test of time and the harsh – and often rural conditions – where they have to operate,” says another OEM. Solid handling capability has also gained prominence and is being sought after more. According to the OEM the demand for after-sales service is of increasing importance. Experienced technicians that know the equipment inside out are must, while all efforts have to be made to keep downtimes to a minimum. With a lot of new companies on the market, it’s best not to forget that not everyone comes with the same skill and experience. Now more than ever pump manufacturer have to be highly focused on their brand delivering to its expectations. Various OEMs have in recent times embarked on education drivers in the market explaining the benefit of using the OEM for the servicing and maintenance of equipment as well as how pump life can be increased, how to avoid unnecessary down time and to not underestimate the impact that non-OEM parts can have. Not only do other parts void the original warrantee, but there is also the possibility that these parts don’t meet the OEM performance specs and exact materials might not always match.

Werner Pumps is now ISO 9001:2015 accredited

PUMPS

Werner Pumps, the leading manufacturer of high-pressure jetting equipment in South Africa, is now ISO 2009:2015 accredited. This certification is in recognition of the company’s compliance to the ISO standard that specifies requirements for implementing a quality management system (QMS). “The ISO 9001:2015 accreditation will enable Werner Pumps to demonstrate to clients that we are recognised in our provision of products and services that consistently meet regulatory and customer requirements,” says Sebastian Werner, Managing Director. “Our ISO 9001:2015 certificate for quality management encompasses the design, manufacture and refurbishment of our highpressure jetting and pump equipment. This certification sets us apart from local competitors and shows how serious we are about the level of quality we produce.” Werner believes that in a challenging economy, the need to remain competitive is paramount. The company’s investment in advanced machinery and technology enables it to supply 100% locally manufactured high-pressure jetting products that can compete at a global standard. This is what differentiates the company from competitors. “We’ve continued to grow despite the tough economic environment, and we believe this is because we’re continuing to reinvest in our business and to source advanced manufacturing equipment to ensure our products offer a superior quality and value,” says Werner. The majority of Werner Pumps’ truck units are 100% locally manufactured, and where the company does import certain components, these are assembled locally. This ensures the business is able to manage quality at every step in the manufacturing and assembly process. “Our competitive advantage is our ability to produce and supply equipment of similar manufacturing quality equal to European standards, built to withstand tough African operating conditions,” says Werner. Werner Pumps is also investing in automated welding machines from the USA, including a top-quality portable and programmable welding carriage that will help to weld to exact specifications for any application, from stitch welding to continuous welds. This equipment offers a superior weld quality to manual welding and, because it is a quicker process, means that Werner Pumps is able to speed up its own production line. “We’ve found that people are often wary of new automated machinery because of the perception of reducing job opportunities, but by investing in this welding equipment, we’re actually able to take on more orders and continue to expand our business,” Werner says. “We’ve invested in improving our manufacturing facility and we’re hoping to expand its size in the near future because the business continues to grow, for which we are very grateful.” Werner Pumps is also in the process of having its welding 14

employees certified to ISO 3834. This standard governs the quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials and ensures that Werner Pumps’ welders are trained to the highest standards and capable of producing consistent, high-quality welds. ISO 3834 complements ISO 9001 and incorporates quality control of every step in the welding process, as well as the finished weld. It also aims to reduce waste and rejections, as well as reworks, and to improve efficiency and safety. Werner says that upskilling employees is an investment in the company and the country. “We believe in the value of local manufacturing,” he says. “By focusing on skills development and quality, we not only create job opportunities and continue to grow our company – we also help our customers to grow their own businesses with the high-quality products we supply them with.” Werner Pumps, Sebastian Werner, +27 (0) 11 362 6280, sebastian@wernerpumps.com, www.wernerpumps.com

Kyle Pienaar, of Golf Turf Electronics, found that the OEM-supplied carbon pump bowl bushings lasted only two months at the Sabi River Sun course, while another polymer’s bushings lasted six months in the highly-abrasive debris-filled water. As a result, he turned to an even tougher polymer material, Hitemp 150, which is designed to give good resistance to abrasion and to be especially suited for dirty applications. Faced with highly abrasive conditions, the bushings lasted a year without a scratch, tells Pienaar. Pienaar also found Hitemp 150’s temperature characteristics useful.

This causes the motor to trip and the pump to cease to operate, he says, noting that this is preferable to damage that may be caused by a pump running dry for a lengthy period. Golf Turf Electronics has golf-course pump maintenance contracts in South Africa and Mauritius. The company provides bowl bushings for the bottom of the pump shaft as well as intermediate support bushings. At the Sabi River Sun golf course, the company supplies bushings for two OEM canister pumps, each with a flow rate of 80m3/h.

With a temperature rating of 150ºC (300ºF), a short-term temperature limit of 170ºC (340ºF) and a melting point of 265ºC (509ºF), the material was also suitable for the harsh operating conditions that it would face, including having to run dry for limited periods. Pienaar notes that unattended pumps on golf courses can run dry for lengthy periods. While this is not ideal for the pumps or the bushings, if the bushings are treated as sacrificial parts that protect the pump in a harsh environment, the Hitemp 150 polymer bushings do their job. The bushings, which can withstand 1 minute of dry running, will eventually be affected by an environment in which water cooling does not occur. In extreme cases, the bushings melt on to the shaft, describes Pienaar 16

Bravo, the slurry pump that works where others fall short Pumping fluids with high solids concentrations is far more complicated than just pumping water. To avoid sedimentation in the system, the correct pump size with appropriately dimensioned hoses and pipes must be selected.

PUMPS

The Grindex Bravo pump is proving its worth in slurry pumping applications. Adding to the complexity of selecting pumps for slurry pumping applications is that the concentration of solids, together with particle size and shape, can affect pump performance as well as power requirements. Settled solids might require external agitators, water jets or mixers to get them back in suspension and allow them to be pumped.

in the most demanding slurry applications,” Adams says

All these factors need to be considered when selecting the correct slurry pump for an application, and local Grindex pump distributor, Integrated Pump Technology has issued a caution against making this purchase decision based on capital cost alone.

The large throughlet means that the pump can handle solids of varying sizes. The pumps are equipped with a leakage sensor that facilitates early detection of any problems, allowing action to be taken as soon as possible.

“Slurry pumps need to handle abrasive solids in suspension, including sand, gravel and waste products in high concentration,” Colin Adams, managing director of Integrated Pump Technology says. “Coping with the high levels of wear caused by this abrasion requires a pump with hydraulic parts manufactured from a very hard metal alloy. Selecting anything less will result if high maintenance and repair costs translating into unnecessarily high total cost of ownership.” Grindex Bravo submersible slurry pumps are engineered to cope with the toughest pumping conditions, and the hydraulic components are made from Hard Iron™, one of the hardest materials available. “Countering excessive wear is important in slurry pumps and the robust construction of the Bravo pump, coupled with its low shaft speed, ensures high wear resistance even

The Bravo pump range can operate over the complete pump curve, not just on a specific duty and can handle from 30 litres per second up to 130 litres per second at a maximum head of 45 metres.

Adams says that with its single adjustment screw it is simple to tweak the pump impeller ensuring optimal performance. Pumps in the Bravo range from the 400 upwards are equipped with an agitator designed specifically for coarser slurries. This enables the pump to stir up and pump sand, sludge and solids in suspension. “Our team of experienced and skills pumps specialists can advise customers on the most appropriate pump for a particular slurry application, assuring that the pump installation will operate at low total cost of ownership,” Adams concludes.

South Africa’s economic slowdown has increased the pressure on the pump and valve industry. Amidst swinging market conditions, a volatile currency and increased competition staying ahead of the game requires a renewed focus on value-add. Pipes, Pumps and Valves Africa spoke to Peter Ker-Fox, Stewarts and Lloyds Divisional Manager – Irrigation and Pumps, and his colleague Kevin Van Buuren, the company’s Group Retail Manager, to find out more. In a world driven by cost retaining a competitive advantage can be difficult. Whilst many companies say that service makes them different, it is during times such as these that just saying it is simply not good enough. “Delivering extraordinary service that you cannot get anywhere else is of critical importance,” says Ker-Fox, especially in the pump and valve industry. “Just as important is to do business differently to our competitors in an effort to set our company apart. It is about delivering a level and value of service that customers cannot get elsewhere.” The combination of a well renowned company of 100 years plus an extensive range of excellent quality products goes a long way in ensuring this. Yet much effort is made, says Van Buuren, to do more. Focus on people

Large footprint A reputable and trustworthy supplier that has a nationwide footprint is another way that the Stewarts and Lloyds team add value.

“Motivating and uplifting employees is a central focus in the company. It is important that staff needs and aspirations are met and much emphasis is placed on training, mentoring and encouraging employees.”

“Our group operates 32 branches throughout Southern Africa having started in Kimberley, where operations jointly began with Cape Town under the Lloyd & Lloyd name in 1898,” explains Van Buuren. Having later changed its name to Stewarts & Lloyds it has become a household name. “Customers know what they get when they deal with us. The company name is synonymous with excellent service and good quality products.”

Training and skills development remains one of South Africa’s biggest challenges across sectors and the pump and valve industry is no different.

At the same time having a large network of branches mean customers can access products from just about anywhere in South Africa within a relatively short period of time.

Meeting the challenge to remain a leading player in the industry does depend a great deal on the people employed.

18

“Our industry is lacking in trained personnel and it is difficult at times to find the right people for the right position. We see training as an investment into our business,” says Ker-Fox. “It ensures that our customers are helped by knowledgeable experts at all times. Keeping our staff abreast of new product developments is therefore essential so as to not fall behind as a business.” He says in addition to product training, courses in management, external and internal sales, warehousing and financial are offered on a regular basis with all staff encouraged to attend.

Pipes, Pumps and Valves Africa - Jan/Feb 2020

Branches consistently offer a comprehensive range of steel and tube, pipes and fittings, valves, pumps, irrigation, fencing, profiling and laser products. One-stop shop “Our biggest competitive advantage,” says Ker-Fox, “is that we offer the full array of products required for a project. There is no need to go to different suppliers.” More so, the company assists in developing a turn-key solution allowing its customers to find the best products for their needs. “In these tough economic times cost has become a driving force in the decision making process when purchasing new equipment. While it might seem cheaper to buy from different suppliers there is still a cost advantage to using a one-stop service such as ours. Not only do we assist in a

bespoke solution, but we also have the full array of products required for a pumping system,” says Van Buuren.

PUMPS

“Especially in the more rural areas we have very little waiting time as we carry our stock across the country at our branches.”

The company serves a wide range of industries including light and general engineering, mining, rural water, chemical, petro-chemical, automotive, agriculture, water reticulation, building and construction, fire protection and local authorities. “Any customer looking for any industrial type of product, no matter what it is, will find that we stock it.” Whilst the company does have a manufacturing facility in Wadeville in Gauteng producing roof sheeting products like IBR and corrugated roof sheets, lip channels and palisade fencing, it also imports a wide range of products from across the world including the United States and China. “Quality is important,” says Ker-Fox. “Not only do we have long-standing relationships with our suppliers, but we also visit the factories to ensure that the products are up to our standards. We are also continuously looking for new products on the market to add to our current range.” There is also emphasis on providing the necessary accessories that customers will require when purchasing the primary product. “It is about making sure that the service and the product we offer the customer adds value. They don’t need to drive around looking for other items or try and find certain pieces,” explains Van Buuren. This approach has proven to be extremely successful as was seen during the recent water crisis in the country. With a strong footprint in the domestic water space, the ability to deliver everything required to install a rain water harvesting system ensured a high return of customers. “There is no doubt that we sell the biggest basket of goods along with the necessary educational information that is required as well as the expertise to assist them quickly and efficiently,” says Ker-Fox. Our approach to froth pumping

PUMPS

You hear it time and time again: our froth pumps succeed in tough applications where no one else’s can. We take a look at why Weir Minerals leads the industry in managing mineral froths. The challenge of pumping mineral froths has evolved due to changes in the flotation process and technologies to align with the demand of lower grade recoveries of high value commodities. Slurries consisting of finely ground particles, water, air and a variety of flocculants designed to maximise mineral recovery range from brittle, with large bubbles of entrained air that break easily, to tenacious or persistent froths, where smaller bubbles can survive for hours in the liquid (commonly referred as a gas binding in the pumped medium). These characteristics can change frequently, complicating pumping systems with insufficient ability to remove air from the slurry, impeding the performance of traditional centrifugal pump designs. Today, Weir Minerals offer “state of the art” pump design developments which can accommodate froth bearing slurries with much higher Froth Volume Factors (FVF), (which describes the volume of air in the froth), thanks to the combination of efficient horizontal froth pump designs and the Weir Minerals’ patented Continual Air Removal System (CARS) design. In this article, we explore our journey from using vertical slurry pumps (Warman® AF) to the pioneering work done by our engineers to adapt the traditional Warman® horizontal pump to froth pumping applications, (culminating in the Warman® AHF, LF and MF pumps) and the recent release of Weir Minerals’ Continual Air Removal System (CARS). For more technical information on using a Warman® centrifugal slurry froth pump, please download our full

white paper and Technical Bulletin #28: Froth Pumping. Why we prioritised centrifugal pumps Prior to the introduction of horizontal froth pumps, the Warman® AF vertical pumps were a common sight in flotation circuits around the world. However, as flotation technology has evolved the requirement to meet larger plant throughputs and process demands have increased, it became impractical for the traditional vertical froth tank design to increase in size to meet tonnage and flow performance demands. Our journey with horizontal froth pumps began in the 80’s, when Warman design engineers began experimenting with the Warman® AH pump to manage mineral froths in hard rock processing sites in Queensland, Australia. This development evolved into the Warman® AHF and later the MF and LF range of Warman® froth pumps with a view to accommodate mineral froths more efficiently through the large suction and open scoop impeller features. Requiring a lower upfront investment and much more efficient to operate, Warman® centrifugal froth pumps quickly replaced vertical pumps as the preferred choice of froth pump operators across the globe. They’ve been found to be more resilient to bearing and shaft failures than vertical pumps, reducing their maintenance overhead and further reducing the total cost of ownership. Continuous Air Removal System (CARS): a revolution in froth pumping While the Warman® range of centrifugal froth pumps proved even more adept at handling mineral froths as their vertical counterparts, the gradual increase in tenacious, high Froth Volume Factors (FVF) froths over the last few decades have posed a significant challenge, as entrained gases in the pumped media was becoming problematic with traditional centrifugal pump configurations. To manage tenacious froths, which are often implicated by the introduction into the process stream of significant quantities of flocculants and other chemicals designed to increase mineral yield, Weir Minerals engineers took inspiration from the methodologies of gas separation and venting used in the paper stock pump industry. They used a semi-open impeller with venting holes that allowed gas to move into a collection chamber behind the impeller, where it was evacuated from the pump with the help of a vacuum pump. This proved unsuitable for slurry pumps because it required tight clearances, which contributed to blockages and excessive wear. Designed with the use of Computational Fluid Dynamics

20

Pipes, Pumps and Valves Africa - Jan/Feb 2020

To efficiently pump froth, Warman engineers enlarged the pump’s suction area and introduced an open scoop impeller. (CFD) analysis, the Continuous Air Removal System (CARS) utilises a flow inducer behind the main impeller to vent gas from the pump’s gas collection chamber. The inducer vanes apply a swirl effect to the feed, forcing the heavier slurry to the outer edge of the pump while the gas gathers in the middle, where it’s transferred to the collection chamber by holes in the impeller. Since its introduction in 2014, the vented CARS design has been successfully deployed for managing copper, gold, zinc, bitumen, talc, molybdenum and potash froths in sites around the world. The key advantage of our vented CARS configuration over traditional froth pump designs is the ability to handle elevated FVF’s in highly tenacious applications and with improved overall operating efficiencies. Our range of Warman® froth pumps Today, we offer three types of froth pump – the classic Warman® AHF, as well as the MF and LF. These models offer a range of hydraulics parameters to meet specific duties and materials to accommodate typical froth applications. All Warman® froth pumps have the optional benefit of the interchangeability for the CARS (Continuous Air Removal System) and when used in conjunction with recommended specific sump designs, use a large, oversized inlet and the unique Warman froth impeller design to handle froth slurries with ease. The Warman® froth pump offers discharge sizes ranging from 50-550mm making them suitable for a variety of applications. Larger models can support flow rates up to 4,550 m3/hr in throughput and design heads normally associated with typical froth installations. All Warman® froth pumps offer expeller sealing and low flow gland sealing as standard configuration to minimise water usage and operating costs. Mechanical sealing is available in limited applications. Pumps equipped with CARS vents can only use a gland-style shaft seal, due to the venting pipe in the collection chamber. Our range of Warman® froth pumps combine the time-tested Warman® centrifugal pump design with CARS, to meet the challenges posed by the most tenacious froths. Farm dam dredging helps optimise water resources As the economy’s largest consumer of water, the agricultural sector is learning the value of effective pond dredging.

PUMPS

According to Lee Vine, managing director of Integrated Pump Rental, the company has been applying its equipment and experience in the Northern Cape to help farmers ensure optimal use of water resources. “With increased competition for the country’s scarce water supply – and drought conditions in some provinces – farmers are looking for ways to conserve and optimise water,” Vine says. “A key aspect of this is preventing their dams from silting up over time.”

Too much silt means less storage capacity for a farmer’s water, which can undermine the whole agricultural operation. It can also lead to sediment finding its way into pipes and pumps causing costly blockages and equipment damage. “We find that several farms have challenges with blocked pipes and pump failure as a result of high solids in their water,” he says. “We have assisted with solutions using purpose-designed pumps, dredging barges and auxiliary equipment.” Vine highlights that the rental equipment is easy to use and can be offered with specialised on-site supervision and training. Integrated Pump Rental also manages all the logistics to get the right equipment to the right place timeously. “Our many years of experience in the mining sector – dredging process water ponds – gives us valuable insight into how to solve the challenges that farmers face,” he says.

A dam free from sediment and vegetation allows optimum water storage for farmers.

A key aspect of Integrated Pump Rental’s offering is its SlurrySucker dredging unit, with a specially engineered dredge head that copes not only with high solids but with vegetation and sewerage. This solution features fit-forpurpose floats constructed from polyethylene for ultraviolet resistance. This gives them a service life of over

20 years. They are also poly-filled to ensure maximum buoyancy. “Our range of quality accessories enhance the cost efficiency of the dredging process,” he says. “Our pump hoses, fittings and purpose-designed hose flotation devices ensure that the job can be completed quickly and effectively.” Vine notes that many customers find Integrated Pump Rental’s rental option the best way to reduce capital outlay, while others request a full turnkey solution to address a particular challenge. The group also engineers bespoke dewatering solutions that match customers’ specific needs. These services range from concept generation and

technical drawings to structural simulations and thermal analysis; bespoke products can then be built, installed and monitored. “Through our on-site operational assessments, we help farmers troubleshoot and we then design solutions that work,” says Vine. “With our technical teams on hand 365 days a year, we also make sure that we closely support the solutions we provide.” Integrated Pump Rental, +27 (0) 11 894 2906, admin@pumprental.co.za, www.pumprental.co.za

One-size-fits-all solution

PUMPS

There is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all solution in the increasingly complex mining operating environment. Delivering equipment and service that maximizes efficiency and minimizes the total cost of ownership is what it is all about. Pipes, Pumps & Valves Africa caught up with Joseph Kwenaite, regional sales and technical support engineer at Metso, at the recent Investing in African Mining Indaba held in Cape Town. For many African nations, economic challenges remain enormous. Thanks to its abundance of resources the continent continue to depend on mining, but it is a sector that has been under tremendous pressure the past few years due to slumping commodity prices and lower demand. Rising logistics and labour costs along with the plethora of other challenges particular to Africa including political uncertainty, security risks and the remoteness of projects, has hit the mining sector hard. “In South Africa and Africa the grades of minerals have been declining putting mines under even more pressure,” says Kwenaite. “With profits down most mines have embarked on cost-saving programmes while at the same time introducing more technology into their operations to optimise processes.” Especially in terms of pump operations, this has been the case. “The focus remains on extending pump lifespans, while continuously reducing cost.” According to Kwenaite, it is crucial in these times that pump suppliers can work closely with customers to understand their challenges, process conditions and variables to ensure that the equipment and service regiment that is selected does exactly that – increases lifespan and minimises cost. Challenging conditions Mill discharge, says Kwenaite, is probably one of the most onerous duties at any mine operation requiring optimal pump performance at all times. Metso has been working with grinding mill circuits in a wide variety of mining applications throughout the world during the years. According to Kwenaite the Metso MD series of mill discharge slurry pumps encompass all of this experience coupled with an understanding of today’s market needs and demands for improved sustained performance. “As a company, we are continuously looking to new technologies and strategies,” he says. Much effort is also made to introduce and train mining operators on new technologies to improve their overall inter-connection with pumps on their sites. He says the MD series of heavy-duty slurry pumps - the first specifically designed for mill discharge services and applications – address some of the biggest challenges miners have faced by incorporating features and benefits that speak to the most aggressive application in any mining mill circuit. 26

Pipes, Pumps and Valves Africa - Jan/Feb 2020

“These pumps offer sustained efficiency and performance as well as operational reliability and durability,” says Kwenaite. “The pumps were designed specifically for the mining industry and have long operating life while being fast and easy to maintain.” More so the modular and compact designed pumps also come with an extensive range of complimentary products. Market outlook Whilst mining projects have been slow to come online in recent years, the overall outlook for the sector is optimistic. “We have expanded our market area into Zambia, the DRC and Botswana. These are a few of the countries where we believe there are still big mining opportunities as many of the mineral resources are still untapped,” he says. It’s an industry that remains highly competitive making it imperative for companies to stand out. “The quality of products remains important,” says Kwenaite indicating that Metso only uses high-performance materials with excellent resistance to abrasion and erosion.

He says the special emphasis is placed on components that have to withstand exceptional wear from coarse heavy solids and flow turbulence. “The mining industry requires robust products that have a long wear life and sustained efficiency. After-sales service is of critical importance for the sector as downtime has to be kept to the minimum. They require suppliers to be efficient and respond to concerns as quickly as possible.” Kwenaite says it is with this in mind that Metso has launched full life cycle services for the pumps offering. “This includes anything from us having a technician onsite to maintain pumps to keeping the pump inventory for them as a consignment on their facility to improve response times.”

Kwenaite says it is an approached where the original equipment manufacturer and the end-user become partners. “It is a bespoke approach that allows us to come up with the best solution for a customer and then ensure we are supplying the right pump for the right application at all times.” The service footprint is just as important. “The ability to ensure that pumps are maintained and serviced quickly and efficiently goes without saying. We have a significant footprint around Africa having placed our inhouse service departments in very strategic positions. We also have partnerships with several agencies on the continent

that have been trained to deliver the Metso approved service. This ensures our clients receive the same Metso experience no matter where they are buying our products or using our service.”

PUMPS

The trend, he says, is to deliver bespoke solutions. “There is no one-size-fits-all approach, but rather the delivering of the specific needs of a customer to ensure their needs are met 100%.”

Kwenaite says at Metso there is much positivity for the pump sector in African mining. “There are several projects to watch. We believe there is a real opportunity to grow the pump sector in Africa going forward.” Metso, +27 (0) 11 961 4000, www.metso.com

INDUSTRY NEWS

AECOM lends its support to WeDev water-sanitation project AECOM, the world’s premier infrastructure firm, corporate responsibility platform Blueprint for a Better World currently provides a travel-grant programme to support employees’ passion to use their technical expertise in partnership with non-profit organisations to bring lasting, scalable solutions to communities in need. A recent recipient of a travel grant was Candidate Quantity Surveyor Kevina Kakembo from AECOM’s operations in South Africa. Kevina joined employees from six countries and multiple professional disciplines to contribute to a water-sanitation project at Mityana and Zinga Islands in Uganda. Led by Project Director Micheal Ottensmann in September 2019, the project for German NGO WeDev involved the installation of gutters, water tanks, pumps, solar panels (including battery connection), and water testing. The Blueprint travel-grant programme process begins with a proposal plan and budget that is then submitted for assessment. Thereafter AECOM employees vote for projects they deem to be of the highest significance. Once voting concludes, the corporate responsibility team selects the final projects that will receive financial support. “This means AECOM employees have a voice in what impactful projects resonate with them the most,” Kakembo stresses. South African by birth, and Ugandan by descent, Kakembo opted for the water-sanitation project in Uganda, which aimed at securing potable water for local communities. Project responsibilities ranged from connecting spring water to a tank using a gradient, making chlorine from salt using a solar-powered battery to clean water from tanks and water sources, to connecting a pump to an 11-m-deep borehole to ease the process of collecting water. “Assisting in providing such a basic necessity to an underprivileged community reminds us how privileged we are.

“Working for a company that makes provision for such meaningful projects means we are empowered. The response from the community in the form of appreciation and keenness to learn and participate gave all a feeling of being at home,” Kakembo comments, referred to as ‘eka’ in Luganda. “In a world full of political unrest, social injustice, and environmental depletion, this project gave hope not just to the people of Uganda, but to us as well in the realisation that we can make a difference and leave a legacy, no

matter how big or small, to the lives of others,” Kakembo concludes. The AECOM Blueprint travel-grant programme also allows for extensive networking among employees on a global basis, further enhancing the company’s corporate responsibility goals. Resilient Linatex® and Linard® rubber linings cut downtime on African mines

PIPES

Two African mines are achieving increased production time and plant availability after converting to Weir Minerals’ Linatex® and Linard® rubber lining solutions. A mineral sands operation in Mozambique approached Weir Minerals just over two years ago, after experiencing high wear on its pipe and launders. This was leading to frequent maintenance, leaks and downtime. The Weir Minerals team observed that part of the challenge was worn out and corroded metalwork on the mine’s wet concentrator plants due to the proximity to the coast. Access to reline the existing launders was difficult and posed safety risks necessitating a more effective solution. The solution was to replace the competitors’ products – chemically cured rubber – with Linatex® premium rubber and Linard® 60 rubber. This was done during the mine’s monthly shutdowns. Whereas the competitors’ rubber lasted only two to three months, the Linatex® and Linard® linings are still in operation after 25 months. The Linard® 60 rubber lining solution was also applied at a gold mine in South Africa’s North West province. The mine’s maintenance team had been replacing the rubber lining on mill feed hoppers and spouts every 10 days. The mechanical foreman was looking for a more resilient solution. The foreman was not familiar with Linatex® rubber products, so a trial using Linard® 60 rubber was arranged. The entire feed hopper and spout were lined with this silica-reinforced natural rubber. The results were convincing, with the wear life increasing to 12 weeks, with only the partially worn areas requiring relining, there was a reduction in relining costs. This has increased plant availability, resulting in fewer stoppages and reduced operating costs. Linatex® premium rubber is a proprietary vulcanised natural rubber, produced through a unique process that

uses high-quality natural latex. It has outstanding strength, resilience and resistance to cutting and tearing – with high performance in wet, abrasive conditions. Linard® 60 rubber, which is silica reinforced, retains the natural strength and nerve of latex while combining with the toughness needed for handling coarse materials. Bearing lubrication under the spotlight BEARINGS

Lubrication, whether it is through the use of oils or grease, plays a vital role in the performance and life of rolling element bearings. Experts warn that ignoring this necessary function can have catastrophic effects. Pipes, Pumps and Valves Africa finds out more.

Bearings need grease to reduce friction which in turn eliminate or minimizes wear, says Nadeem Bhatti, an application engineer for NSK Corporation. “The answer as to why bearings need to be lubricated is simply that it ensures long bearing life.” According to Bhatti questions around what to use as lubrication – grease or oil – often depends on the application. “There are both advantages and disadvantages to both substances. Grease offers better consistency, is easy to capture and requires a smaller amount be used when compared to oil. Bearings are also often greased and sealed for life resulting in less maintenance, there is less risk of leakage and a less chance of dirt ingress. It is lower in cost as well.” Oil, on the other hand, has a higher heat dissipation, allows for filtration and achieves higher speeds. According to Bhatti the most common form of bearing lubrication are oil splashes. “It is the easiest system to design requiring no pumps or filters. A big disadvantage

is that it is incredibly sensitive to the oil level and if the system does get contaminated it will not be removed completely.” Circulating oil systems, however, operate at a higher speed than oil baths and help to dissipate heat more. This is a better choice as these systems do have a record of increasing the life of a bearing. A third option, says Bhatti, is the more advanced system of an oil mist that have very low consumption and operate at much higher speeds. How much lubrication? According to Matthew Dawson, design engineer at Isomag Corporation, correct volume is typically specified by the original equipment manufacturer (OME) in the operating manual, but a general rule of thumb is that the volume of oil must be half way up the diameter of the rolling element. “If the level is too high then lubricant churning will occur, the temperature will increase and accelerated oxidation takes place. Too high levels inhibits proper oil ring operations and there is an increased potential for leaks.”

to be very careful. It might seem like common sense, but often not enough care is taken,” she says. “Pay attention to cleaning the ports and the instruments during the filling process. Also anything in direct contact with lubrication must be clean and the containers being used to store lubrication must also be taken care of and kept in a proper and clean area.” Heer says the recommendation is eliminate oilers and vents, but if not possible it is then best to use a balanced and closed oiler system. “The use of bearing housing seals to prevent contamination ingress in the housing is advisable. Also, a shut off device prevents cool moist air from entering at shutdown,” she says. “Bearing protection devices can also be used as they prevent dirt or dust from entering housing.”’ According to Heer it comes down to using the correct oil viscosity, good quality lubricant, the proper quantity of oil and the ability to keep the oil clean from contaminants. “It is essential to establish a proper oil monitoring system or to have a procedure in place to check the lubrication levels. This results in a far more pro-active approach where predictive maintenance can take place.” The steps to effective lubrication, says Heer, are as follows: 1) Evaluate current lubrication methods 2) Set target cleanliness levels 3) Identify sources of contamination and degradation 4) Take specific actions to achieve targets 5) Analyze lubricant health frequently 6) Distribute the results and raise visibility in the organisation.

BEARINGS

If the levels are too low it can also be problematic. “This will result in improper film thickness and one will start to see surface contact and skidding and possible catastrophic failure if one is starving the bearing of lubrication.” Dawson says it is important to maintain lubrication volume. “Balanced oilers are superior and it is advised to use these to ensure the right quantity of lubrication is maintained throughout operations as well as during start-up and shutdown procedures.” Quality makes all the difference Lubrication can only ever be maintained to the quality that it starts with. Using reputable products is therefore a critical element for good lubrication. Considering the variety of sources for contaminants to enter housing from the oilers to the vents and seals, giving careful attention to details when filling bearing housing with lubrication is important. According to Dawson when it comes to bearings one does not even want the smallest of particles to wedge themselves between the rolling elements. “Particle contamination causes range from ingress from the environment, improper cleaning practices during maintenance to the corrosion of components from high water content. The effects of this is wear on components, silting and surface fatigue.” He says it can be anything from mud to chemical powders and all effort must be made to keep contaminates out. There are various ways of maintaining quality and avoiding contamination, says Megan Heer, a key account manager at Inpro/Seal. “The most effective method to prevent contamination is

Allmech imports new manganese and iron removal device into South Africa VALVES

Allmech, the sole official agent for Runxin water treatment system valves in the country, is for the first time in South Africa making available a Runxin device – product number F107 – specifically designed to remove manganese and iron from water.

Allmech is a leading South African manufacturer of boilers and supplier of water treatment components and is bringing in the valve for a pilot project in the agricultural food processing industry. Lionel Maasdorp, General Manager at Allmech, explains that iron and manganese can be effectively removed from water using several treatment processes, depending on both the form and concentration of the metals. “We are not the first to use these Point-of-Entry (POE) treatment devices, but this is the first time that this specific device is being made available in South Africa and we believe it will help solve the challenges of our customers across several sectors,” says Maasdorp. “Manganese tends to be difficult to remove from water because removal depends on its state of oxidation, the pH of the water, the presence of other minerals, and the TDS (total dissolved solids) of the water being treated.” Another complication is that manganese often appears alongside iron and hydrogen sulphide. While conventional water softeners are sometimes effective for removing iron and small amounts of manganese, Maasdorp says high concentrations of manganese can damage the resin in the softener. “Resin in a softener should last up to 10 years, but with this client, we were making replacements every three to six months,” he says. “Borehole water is often very high in manganese and iron, and this has major cost implications 36

Pipes, Pumps and Valves Africa - Jan/Feb 2020

for businesses if they have to constantly replace the resin in their softeners. We have suggested the Runxin iron and manganese removal device to our clients as an alternative solution. It’s essentially a pre-treatment device that removes the substances from the water before it reaches the industrial softening system or demineralisation system.” The Runxin F107 iron and manganese removal control valve use a special design that offers a high aeration method. This assures the dissolved oxygen required for manganese removal is present. It has an automatic air release valve, which constantly drains the air and carbon dioxide that is formed in the water. The valve has a simple design and is made from corrosionresistant material, which ensures reliable sealing. When the water is properly pre-treated with air, any good filter medium will remove the manganese. The device is suitable for water pressure of between 0.25MPa and 0.6MPa, temperatures of 5 to 25℃ (and environmental temperatures of 5 to 50℃), and electrical supply of AC 100 to 240V (or 50 to 60Hz). It will be effective for water supply containing ≤25mg/litre of iron, or ≤3mg/L of manganese and water turbidity <15NTU Allmech, +27 (0) 11 849 2731, lionel@allmech.co.za

Amalgamating Macsteel divisions to improve efficiency and save costs VALVES

In line with its long characterized customer-centric approach, Macsteel is amalgamating its pipes and fittings division with the fluid control division. Pipes, Pumps & Valves Africa finds out more. Improving efficiency and saving cost is at the heart of the decision to combine two of the business units, explains Rowan Blomquist, the Macsteel Business Unit Executive who will not only oversee the change management but also head up the newly combined units. “In the past, the Fluid Control Unit only handled valves and process control equipment. Whilst it serviced several industries it was very a niched business unit that operated separately from any of the other units.” The pipes and fitting unit, in turn, was part of the company’s steel portfolio. “There was not much of synergy for pipes and fittings with steel leading to discussions about a possible move to another unit that made more sense.” Also, within the steel business, the company’s pipe department was declining, while at the same time the Fluid Control unit was fast gaining market share and growing its footprint in the country. Not only is the unit the sole franchise holder for a variety of top brands in Southern Africa, but it also established a thriving local valve assembly operation. “It just made business sense to align our fluid control operation with pipes rather than maintaining this unit within our steel business,” says Blomquist. “From March 1, Fluid Control and Tubes and Pipes will function as one under the Fluid Control Portfolio. It is a move that we believe will be welcomed by the industry as the synergy between pipes and valves is there. Every valve is connected to a pipe after all.” Experts at work For Blomquist, it is a logical fit. He says having a sales team that can speak to valves and pipes will boost the unit. “We specialize in our fluid control products. It is a highly experienced team that understand the intricacies of the business and the special requirements of customers. Our focus is not on steel as we are all about valves,” he says. “It offers this environment to the pipes unit that is often faced with the same questions and concerns from the industry.” From a customer perspective they are offering a one-stopshop, says Blomquist. “In the past customers would deal with the fluid control department for valves and then be passed on to the pipes unit for their other requirements. Now they speak to one department and one set of experts.” He believes this will improve efficiency greatly. “The same

goes for all enquiries for projects and plant expansions that came into our pipe division. They would be quoted separately by two different units if they wanted valve quotes as well.” Blomquist says not only will the service offering improve and be more efficient, but it allows the company to increase it as well along with the stockholding offering a far more complete range of products and services overall. It is also by far a more focused approach where the customer is met with one attitude to service. “There is no doubt that this consolidated approach will allow us to offer a better service, but also a more bespoke one to the end-user.” Service delivery Whilst any merger, even within a company, has its fair share of challenges, the Macsteel team are prepared and ready

saying the transition is one that will improve the customer’s experience. “We have taken a consolidated change management approach and will address any shortcomings as quickly as possible to ensure that our customers and our staff are comfortable at all times.” Introducing a standardized service offering, he says, is the goal of the company that prides itself on its customercentric approach to business. “At the heart of what we do is our customer,” says Blomquist. “Our goal is to ensure that customer needs are met efficiently and effectively.” Macsteel Fluid Control, +27 (0) 11 383 4000, rowan.blomquist@macfluid.co.za, www.macsteel.co.za

Embracing transformation

Come March 1 the business of EnerMech Engineering Services (part of the global EnerMech group of companies) will officially be transferred to EnerMech’s new entity, EnerMech Mzansi on local shores. Pipes, Pumps & Valves Africa found out more about the new company name and the company’s transformation journey.

VALVES

Navigating the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) landscape can be a daunting task. Yet, says Kashief Emjedi, Enermech country manager for South Africa, it has been an exciting process to date with big promises of things to come. The company has successfully partnered with local investment company, Mion Holdings, as part of its ongoing effort to contribute to economic inclusion in South Africa. “Not only will our new trading name be EnerMech Mzansi, but through this partnership we will now be at a Level 4 B-BBEE status,” says Emjedi. “EnerMech is a global business with expertise and roots in local markets. Our global reach means our expert teams can deliver excellence anywhere in the world. As a business we remain committed to employing capable nationals in their various locations to ensure we service our clients with local expertise.” This arms the company with the necessary local knowledge and cultural sensitivities to support its customers. Emjedi, who has been with EnerMech for the past five years, says it is an extremely exciting time for the company and its employees. “This new transformation era with not just local expertise but also local ownership is a big step forward for the company. Through this initiative EnerMech has strengthened its position in South Africa and has fully embraced the country’s B-BBEE policies.” With headquarters in Cape Town and regional offices in Johannesburg and the Northern Cape it is a local company with local ownership with world-class capabilities, he explains. Growth strategy According to Emjedi EnerMech Mzansi has set itself some

40

stringent growth targets as it aims to expand its service offering in the country. Increasing its footprint is very much on the cards and will be a key focus for the next few months as the company targets a variety of sectors. “We are particularly looking at the mining and petrochemical sectors. With our local infrastructure and flexible approach in servicing the local market we believe this is a sector that we can add much value to,” says Emjedi. Thanks to its new B-BBBEE credentials the company can also tap into markets and sectors that it previously did not have any access to. “We have set very high growth targets,” says Emjedi. “But, we believe with the strategy in place there is no reason why we cannot reach our goal.” Ultimately, it is about providing safer and smarter solutions, meeting clients expectations and delivering on

“We also have a strong understanding of the markets in which we operate which allows us to add value to new and old customers alike.” At the same time much effort is made to continuously evolve service offerings to ensure that clients’ needs are always met. “We are competitive, versatile and flexible. Our teams listen to our customers’ needs and develop the best solutions possible,” explains Emjedi.

According to Emjedi plans are also in place to expand the company’s footprint in Africa from its Cape Town headquarters.

VALVES

He says with an experienced senior management team in place the company is ready for its new journey. In Cape Town and Northern Cape, Monique Fritz heads up the company’s cranes and lifting operations, while Pascal Leroy is the Johannesburg operations manager. Andre Swartz and Gideon Scheepers heads up the hydraulic and valves departments respectively and Phil Louw is the regional general manager.

“Whilst growing our operations and services in South Africa it makes sense to also expand our presence in Africa.” EnerMech currently has operational bases in Angola, Ghana, Nigeria and Madagascar with imminent plans to expand into Mozambique as part of this growth strategy. promises. “Globally, EnerMech differentiates itself from its competitors through safe and innovative solutions, and the same offering will now be available to a broader reach of South African clients on the back of our new B-BBEE status.”

EnerMech, +27 (0) 21 286 4000, Africa.Sales@enermech.com, www.enermech.com

No big surprises Kashief says clients can be assured that the company’s range of products and services will not only still be available, but it will remain of the highest standard as before. According to Vivek Gianpersad, the company’s business development manager, the operational bases are also located strategically to allow for a faster and more efficient service offering. “We have a range of services we offer, not only cranes and lifting,” he says. Industrial services, valves, maintenance integrity and inspection, hydraulic services and product supply are all part of the offerings at EnerMech Mzansi. They also do high pressure Nitrogen supply systems and equipment rental. Gianpersad says the team has a multi-disciplinary approach that allows them to deliver comprehensive and fully managed end-to-end services from concept to commissioning through to operation and maintenance. “Our teams are highly skilled and very experienced to develop solutions that meet the exact needs of any particular client.” According to Emjedi the company’s approach remains the same as it has since its inception; to develop long-term collaborative partnerships with its customers. Ageing water & sanitation infrastructure

VALVES

Peter Telle, the Managing Member at Ultra Control Valves, shares his company's take on simple innovations that aid in saving water given the current ageing water and sanitation infrastructure. Importance of pressure management and how it has been implemented in South Africa With water scarcity facing users all over the world, water utility companies should be proactive to en-sure that pipe leaks are reduced and kept to an absolute minimum. One of the quickest “fast return” innovations, which has been implemented by some municipalities and water boards over the past few years, is pressure management. This involves reducing pressures in networks during lowdemand periods (to reduce losses from leaks), which involves elec-tronic equipment connected to pilot-operated pressure-reducing valves (POPRVs) that resets pres-sures to different levels for different flow rates. The problem with this strategy in the South African context is that POPRVs are complicated and little understood (or maintained) by operators. The addi-tion of electronic controllers makes these valves even more complicated and less user-friendly. Ultra Control Valves has entered the market with some very new and simple innovations, which are starting to capture the imagination of users as tremendous water-saving devices. Advantages of RRPRVs over POPRVs Ratio reducing pressure-reducing valves (RRPRVs) reduce pressures in a ratio (2:1, 3:1, 4:1, 5:1) and have no adjustments that are easily tampered with. They also are much easier to apply in the field as they do not have delayed reaction times, low flow instability or vulnerability to dirt. Just a simple piston, which is activated by line pressure, will always keep the ratio between inlet and outlet pressure at a constant value. With POPRVs, one has to be very careful that the valve is sized correctly to handle low flows, or install valves

in series to overcome cavitation damage, all increasing the complexity of the installation and with increased chances of malfunction. In a lot of POPRV installations, valves become unstable at low flows (at night), causing pipe breaks and leading to huge water losses – exactly the op-posite result to what the valve is intended for. The installation of RRPRVs is a lot simpler and does not require much engineering or maintenance. It is truly an African solution to keep pressures low without the accompanying complexities. Maric flow control valves and their applications in Africa This innovative Australian product has been used to control flow in a lot of applications over the last 40 years since its development. These valves are completely tamperproof and ideal for African conditions – where simplicity and robustness are key, and maintenance is seldom done. In the right applications – such as consumer endpoints like taps, showers, standpipes in rural water supplies – this valve will en-sure tremendous savings of water consumption. It will have the same effect on water supply net-works. By placing Maric flow controllers in strategic positions, flows are limited to what is the norm for such a network. If pressure drops to the extent where users complain, it indicates that consumption is too high due to pipe leaks, which then need to be repaired. These products provide pressure and flow control with absolute simplicity, which plays an important role in ensuring correct operation. The result is huge savings in water losses.
