A visit to Amsterdam is naturally also on the itinerary, and it includes a trip on the famous canals past the city’s traditional town houses. North Holland is famous for its pretty countryside and the traditional windmills. Markermeer and IJsselmeer, two large inland waters, are an additional cruise highlight. Rotterdam with its gigantic port and pretty Nijmegen are also important components of a cruise that appeals to all the senses.
