Locks Doors serve as our entrance to our homes and to any establishment that we get into. Most functioning establishments and facilities always have a door. Try to imagine your house without doors; it’s quite difficult to enter a window right? Of course that the main reason why doors are made to make it simple for people to enter a certain room or a close space. Also the purpose of a door is not only made for an entrance but also for a security purposes. The security purposes of door locks are to protect us from unwanted visitors, criminals, burglar and intruders from entering our premises. They are the one’s responsible for our safety and the safety of our property. There standard types of doorknobs that we usually use today and those are providing a weak securing because they are easy to break in and manipulate. There are different types of deadbolt lock and that includes the following. The first type has a cylinder on one side and has a knob on the other side. While the second type of deadbolts lock has a double cylinder lock, it has a key cylinder on both side of the lock which means it has no knobs and you are required to use a key to unlock it. The last type of deadbolts locks has an combination lock attached in it so it doesn’t required a key but just make sure you remember the combination you set on the lock. There are two types of the deadbolts locks with combination lock and the one with combination lock and an alarm, the alarm is activated whenever you put the wrong combination. There are quite a lot of reason why you need a strong lock for your home security and that includes the methods of burglar when picking a lock especially if your house is only equipped with standard door knobs. This new method involves inserting a key like thing to the key hole and then applies pressure using a hammer to punch it and then the lock will be opened. Apparently this new lock picking technique can open most of door lock types in the market and sadly it’s even sold on eBay fro only 2 dollars. Choosing the right locks for your home is always worth your investment because you could lose everything because you bought cheap and generic locks for your home.
