MISSIONARY OF THE WEEK: Erik and Tammy Burklin: China Partner/US/Pastoral Training. Erik is in China with a team
who are training Chinese Christian pastors and teachers. In Guangzhou City last year, over 2,000 new believers were baptized! Praise God that these years of training Chinese Christian workers has helped to further His kingdom in the largest country of the world. Pray that Erik and the teams will understand the needs of these Chinese workers and be able to provide what they need to become well grounded in the faith and to grow spiritually.
PLEASE PRAY for our Turkey Team as they serve in northeastern Turkey Oct. 18-Nov.5. The team will do outreach among English-speaking students and teachers as well as explore future partnership opportunities with other field partners. INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER – Join us on Sunday, Nov 10 in the chapel from 6:00-7:30 pm for a guided time of prayer. PIE AUCTION is today October 27, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the West Campus. This is a family friendly event for the entire church community. Fall foods and desserts will be available for purchase; ice cream and coffee are free. Proceeds will help to fund 2014 Student Mission trips to Milwaukee, Quito, Puerto Rico and Mexico.
