MISSIONARY OF THE WEEK: Gideon and his family live and serve with International Fellowship of Evangelical Students
in Jos Nigeria, Africa. Tragic stories of attacks against Christians have become all to common in Jos. Pray for Gideon and his wife Funmi to have wisdom and courage as they care for their flock. Pray they will sense that they are not alone, but brothers close and many miles away know of their suffering and are praying.
FOOD PANTRY BINS are at each campus to collect food donations. Bins will be labeled with the “needed item”. Thank you for providing food for those in need! Items of the week: Oatmeal and Saltine Crackers
GENEROSITY UPDATE
fbcg.com/giving
“Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” - 2 Corinthians 9:7
YEAR END GIVING IRS rules require contributions to be physically received by the church by Dec. 31, or to be postmarked by Dec. 31, in order to qualify as 2013 contributions. The date on the check does not determine the year of contribution. SENIORS If you are at least 70 ½ years of age, you can make a charitable deduction to FBCG directly from your IRA that counts toward your required withdrawals from your IRA and saves taxes. Questions? Fred Morris at fmorris@fbcg.com.
GIVING ENVELOPES If you would like weekly giving envelopes, please sign up at the Welcome Center in the lobby and they will be mailed to your home every two months. You can also pick up some generic giving envelopes if you are not a weekly donor. Last Week’s Giving
