The FUJI LIGHT illuminated ceiling system has been designed to offer optimal flexibility to a space. Based around a 3 circuit track system FUJI LIGHT can easily cover unsavory or open ceilings while still allowing access to essential services in either a direct fixed or suspended arrangement.
Installed singularly or as a group the FUJI LIGHT System is completely configurable to suit the acoustic, lighting and control requirements of each individual installation.
The FUJI LIGHT Hoods can be installed in a like group of the same size or mixed sizes to accommodate various system shapes. Each FUJI LIGHT Hood can be supplied with a different luminaire dependent on the exact lighting requirements. The science of sound waves.
Sound has both volume and pitch. Volume is seen as an increase in amplitude of the sound wave. Pitch is seen as a change in the frequency of the sound wave.
Reverberation is the multiple reflections of sound waves within a space. Sound reverberation as described in the standard is the time it takes for a sound to decay by 60 decibels within an occupied interior space. As an example if a reverberation time is 1second this means it takes 1second for a sound to decay by 60 decibels, thus allowing the sound to bounce around the space for that period of time and become distracting or uncomfortable for the occupants. It is therefore advantageous to have a low reverberation time within a space to ensure healthy, comfortable and productive conditions.
The advantages of reducing sound reverberation.
Poor sound quality can have negative effects on concentration, information retention and even mood. In certain environments this is exceptionally important such as schools, workplaces and some health and medical facilities.
Research suggests that there is a direct correlation between the acoustic environment of a learning space and the academic and social achievements of children, particularly so in special needs environments. This is backed by many governing bodies including the WELL Standard that has specific recommendations around sound reducing surfaces and reverberation. It ensures spaces are designed in accordance with comfortable times of reverberation which support speech intelligibility, vocal effort and are conducive to concentration. AS/NZS 2107:2016 also specifies reverberation times for various spaces, assisting designers in achieving the best possible acoustic outcomes for their interiors.

The Flute range is a boldly minimalistic variation on existing atmospheric pendant lights. Inspiration for the collection’s clean lines came from the amazing seed pod shape of the Australian Catalpa Cigar Tree. Our lighting system features integrated electrics and wiring, with the option of either fluted glass or opal polycarbonate depending on the installation and use required. The SK45UD has been developed as a fully integrated system. At ELS we understand the complexities of large sprawling interiors that require a variety of approaches to the lighting, and the SK45UD is the perfect solution. The system offers various optics, and has a raft of integration options, most notably the integrated Luxient Track spots that enable not just a lighting system but a fully integrated smart system.
Available at any continuous length with angles and corners the SK45UD is available with both diffused or dual optics along with upward illumination.
