Companies are under increasing pressure to set and meet emis sions targets by using our Radiant heated desk, you can reduce the office thermostat by an average of 4 degrees saving around 28.5% of your heating bill.
By using our heated desks, only individuals who feel they need the additional warmth can heat themselves without effecting others in the workspace.
This results in large cost savings but also a vital reduction in our carbon footprint.
Portable fan heater heats a room. A fan blows direc tional hot air that spreads out and heats a wide area of the room.
RADIANT DESKTOP
The Radiant desktop heat under your desk, heating the individual instead of the whole room.
Our goal is to provide comfortable, well-heated working environ ments across the country for a fraction of the average heating costs of standard gas and electric heating options.
We are using the example of a fan heater. For every fan heater removed from your office, you could be saving around £46.60 per week (based on October 2022 energy pricing £0.52kWh, 8 hour working day, five days per week)
The average desk fan heater uses 2500 - 3000 watts.
At just 260 watts, our desks are 90% cheaper to run.

TERMS OF SALE
1. Definitions and Interpretation
1.1. In these Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires, the following words shall have the following meanings:
Acknowledgement means Ligna Design’s acknowledgement of order; Buyer means the buyer named in the Acknowledgement; Contract means the contract for the purchase and sale of the Goods; Conditions means the conditions of sale set out in this document and any special Goods means the goods, the quantity and description of which are set out in the Acknowledgment; Interest Rate means the interest rate of 2% above the base rate of Bank of England; Quotation means Ligna Design’s quotation.
2. Basis of Sale
2.1. These Conditions shall govern the Contract and all other terms and conditions are excluded.
2.2. Any error or omission in any literature issued by Ligna Design shall sub ject to correction without any liability on the part of Ligna Design.
3. Orders and Specifications
3.1. The quality and description of the Goods and any specification for them shall be as set out in the Acknowledgement.
3.2. Any Quotation is given on the basis that no Contract shall come into existence until Ligna Design dispatches an Acknowledgment to the Buyer.
3.3. No made-to-order Goods, where an Acknowledgement has been issued by Ligna Design, may be cancelled by the Buyer.
3.4. The Buyer may request a one week grace period to arrange an alternative delivery address as an alternative to cancelling the order. Ligna Design will charge a fee for re-delivery.
4. Price
4.1. The price of the Goods shall be the price set out in the Acknowledge ment.
4.2. Ligna Design reserves the right to alter prices contained in the price list from time to time.
5. Payment
5.1. The Buyer shall pay a minimum of 50% of the Goods with order, unless the Buyer has a credit account with Ligna Design, then 5.2 shall apply.
5.2. If the Buyer is successful in applying for a credit account with Ligna De sign, the Buyer shall pay the price of goods within 30 days of the date of the Ligna Design invoice. If a credit limit applies against the Buyer credit account, the Buyer shall pay the value of goods over the credit limit with order.
5.3. In the event of late payment, Ligna Design may cancel the Contract and/ or suspend any further deliveries to the Buyer and charge interest on monies outstanding at the Interest Rate.
5.4. No payment shall be deemed received until Ligna Design has received cleared funds.
5.5. Ligna Design reserves the right with absolute discretion to either apply condition 5.1 or refuse to continue with any Quotation, Acknowledgment or Contract if the financial status or the credit rating of the Buyer appears to be unsatisfactory to Ligna Design.
6.
Delivery
6.1. Any dates specified by Ligna Design for delivery of the Goods are intend ed to be an estimate. Ligna Design shall not be liable for any loss or damage occurring through any failure or inability to meet such dates.
6.2. Where Ligna Design is responsible for delivery of the Goods, Ligna Design liability in the event of a failed delivery will be limited to replacing the Goods within a reasonable time or issuing a credit note at the pro rata Contract rate against any invoice raised for such Goods.
6.3. Where deliveries fail as a result of customer error, a charge will be passed on to the customer for re-aranged deliveries. Failed deliveries can be for a number of reasons including, but not limited to:
6.3.1. Lack of access to the property (e.g. closed, gated, no authority to accept delivery).
6.3.2. Restricted access to the room (e.g. narrow stairwells or doorways).
6.4. Delivery of Goods includes the removal of all packaging. If the Buyer wishes to unpack the items themselves at a later time, this prevents Ligna Design from being able to perform a quality control check. As a result, in these circumstances, Ligna Design accept no liability for damage caused during transit and unpacking.
7.
Storage
7.1. A 30-day period of grace is given where Goods will be stored by Ligna Design at no cost in the event of a delay. The buyer must advise Ligna Design of the delay in writing a minimum of 1 week prior to the advised delivery date.
7.2. The Buyer will be charged 50p per square foot of storage, per week, for any delays outside of the 30-day grace period.
7.3. Ligna Design reserve the right to invoice the cost of Goods on the origi nal delivery date. The storage costs will be invoiced at the end of the storage period.
8.
Risk and Title
8.1. Ownership of the Goods shall not pass to the Buyer until Ligna Design has received in full all sums due to it in respect of: 8.1.1. the Goods; and
8.1.2. all other sums which are or which become due to Ligna Design from the Buyer on any account.
8.2. Until ownership of the Goods has passed to the Buyer (and provided that the Goods are in existence and have not been resold), the Buyer must:
8.2.1. keep the Goods separa8.2.3. hold the proceeds of the insurance referred to in condition.
8.2.2 on trust for Ligna Design and not mix them with any other money, nor pay the proceeds into an overdrawn bank account but the Buyer may resell or use the Goods in the ordinary course of its business.
8.3. Until ownership of the Goods has passed to the Buyer (and provided that the Goods are in existence and have not been resold Ligna Design shall be entitled at any time to require the Buyer to deliver up the Goods to Ligna Design and, if the Buyer fails to do so the Buyer grants Ligna Design, its agents and employees an irrevocable licence at any time to enter any premises (under the control of the Buyer) where the goods are or may be stored in order to recover them.
8.4. The Buyer’s right to possession of the Goods shall terminate immediate ly if the Buyer does any act or omission whereby the Buyer:-
8.4.1. has a bankruptcy order made against him; or 8.4.2. in the case of a corporate Buyer may be wound-up, or enter into a compromise or arrangement under the Insolvency Act 1986 or suffer the appointment of an administrator or receiver; or 8.4.3. encumbers or in any way charges the Goods.
9. Liability
9.1. Ligna Design’s total liability in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty), misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise, arising in connection with the performance or contemplated performance of this Contract shall be limited to the sum recoverable under Ligna Design’s then current insurances.
9.2. Ligna Design shall not be liable to the Buyer for any pure economic loss, loss of profit, loss of business, depletion of goodwill or otherwise, in each case whether direct, indirect or consequential, or any claims for consequential compensation whatsoever (howsoever caused) which arise out of or in connection with the Contract.
9.3. Nothing in these Conditions excludes or limits the liability of Ligna Design for death or personal injury caused by Ligna Design’s negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation.
9.4. The product guarantee offered with Ligna Design Goods is invalidated if the Buyer fails to follow the cleaning and care guidance.
10. Force Majeure
10.1. Ligna Design shall not be liable to the Buyer or be deemed to be in breach of the contract by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform any of our obligations in relation to the Goods, if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond Ligna Design’s reasonable control.
11. General
11.1. If any provision of the Contract shall be found by any court or adminis trative body of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the other provisions of the Contract which shall remain in full force and effect.
11.2. For the purposes of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 the parties do not intend any person other than a party to the Contract to be able to enforce any term of the Contract (save where may be expressly stated otherwise in the Contract).
11.3. English law governs the Contract and the parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
12.
Quality Control
12.1. Prolonged exposure to liquids, grease or fluids and/or failure to use appropriate cleaning methods can result in some staining.
