ince the beginning of Ligonier, R.C. Sproul’s desire remains to reach as many people as possible. And this year, more people than ever before are reading, watching, listening, and sharing our trustworthy resources. As we partner with you and local churches, Great Commission outreach is taking place. Lives are being changed. Together, we are “God’s fellow
workers” (1 Cor. 3:9)—some planting, others watering, and God giving the increase. Martin Luther said it well in his own self-assessment: “I did nothing; the Word did everything.” This growth is around the world as well as at home and online. The Ligonier Statement on Christology and R.C. Sproul’s book The Race of Faith were launched in multiple languages and immediately distributed in multiple countries. Jesus calls the church to “Go,” and we are prepared to come alongside her to help reach the non-English-speaking world with the historic Christian faith. Not only are we reaching more people, we continue to partner with the most trusted teachers to produce the best discipleship resources. We’ve released teaching series on the Sermon on the Mount, suffering and the book of Job, and the marks of a healthy church. We’ve released books on the doctrines of grace, Martin Luther’s legacy, and many other topics. We are not slowing down. In 2016 alone, R.C. Sproul released six books and is writing more hymns. As we reflect upon and celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation in a variety of ways throughout 2017, we have our sights firmly set on the next 500 years and what the Lord may do as He gives the increase. And we know that none of this is possible without you, God’s fellow workers. Thank you.
THE LIGONIER STATEMENT ON CHRISTOLOGY
More than forty years ago, the Ligonier Statement on Inerrancy served as a catalyst for conversation. In 2016, the Ligonier Statement on Christology has done the same. It received a positive reception when R.C. Sproul and Stephen Nichols released the statement in multiple languages during our National Conference. Since then, the statement has been read by hundreds of thousands of people around the world and translated into 19 languages, including Arabic. Work also continues on the supplementary affirmations and denials as we refine them to better serve the church.
TEACHING FELLOWS
Our teaching fellows, a group of men gathered by R.C. Sproul and the board of Ligonier Ministries, expanded in November 2015 with the addition of Albert Mohler and Derek Thomas. As we look to 2017 and beyond, we are planning new initiatives that steward all of our fellows’ unique gifts and broad experience.
RENEWING YOUR MIND
For over two decades, Christians have listened to Renewing Your Mind with R.C. Sproul as a daily way to better understand what they believe, why they believe it, how to live it, and how to share it. We frequently receive testimonies of how the Lord has used this outreach to change lives. As listening habits change, more people than ever are listening to Renewing Your Mind as a podcast, on RefNet, or at the newly refreshed RenewingYourMind.org.
CONFERENCES
For three decades, Christians have enjoyed the fellowship and trustworthy teaching during our annual National Conference in Orlando, FL. We like to call this our “family reunion. It is a pleasure to see our Ministry Partners and students in person, and to personally introduce ourselves to new faces. Spring 2017 is the official 30th anniversary, and as we gather to reflect on the Reformation and look forward to the next 500 years, this conference is shaping up to be one of our largest events ever.
INTERNATIONAL OUTREACH
For our 2016 Summer Olympics outreach in Rio, R.C. Sproul wrote a new book, The Race of Faith, a gospel-teaching resource with a particular focus on the Olympics. We translated it into 11 languages, and with the financial support of our Ministry Partners and other donors, local churches and ministries on the ground helped distribute 300,000 physical copies, and more than 400,000 digital download cards, among the millions of people who attended the Games. Ligonier also went to Mexico in 2016 to host our inaugural Spanish-first regional conference.
R EFORMATION STUDY BIBLE
The award-winning Reformation Study Bible continues to reach more Christians who are hungry for in-depth Scriptural study. Already in our second printing and available in ESV and NKJV versions, more than 80,000 copies have been distributed across 6 continents. We are aggressively working on international translation projects and partnerships so that these study notes can reach the global church.

REFORMATION TRUST
Reformation Trust Publishing continues to experience growth as we partner with new authors, publish trusted titles, and nurture distribution partnerships. The Legacy of Luther, edited by R.C. Sproul and Stephen Nichols, released in October as we continue to celebrate the forthcoming 500th anniversary of the Reformation. 2017 has a full calendar with plans to release ten new books, including the first of several by John MacArthur.

REFORMATION BIBLE COLLEGE
R.C. Sproul’s vision for a Bible college continues to bear fruit. This past year has seen students from 27 states, the establishment of the Davis Family Foundation Scholarship Fund, the first recipient of the Lippencott Scholar Award, the appointment of John Tweeddale as Academic Dean, and the first graduates of the school’s new Foundation Year program. Thanks to the generous support of partners and donors, 2017 will see the school break ground for their much-needed Student Learning Center.

TABLETALK
In 2016, Tabletalk reached a new milestone: distributing 100,000+ issues each month to more than 60 countries around the world. 2017 will see another milestone: celebrating the 40th anniversary of the most widely read subscriber-based monthly devotional in the world. This phenomenal growth is the Lord’s doing and we are grateful. As we look to the future, we are crafting a new online home for Tabletalk to serve subscribers and to introduce more Christians to this magazine.
“So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor. For we are God’s fellow workers.” 1
