Increased resolutions for Lika's best selling C50 encoder Thanks to its noteworthy characteristics, high reliability and inexpensiveness C50 has become a benchmark and one of the most popular incremental encoders from Lika Electronic. Today it is available with higher resolutions up to 4096 PPR. C50 is the sturdy, compact and affordable incremental encoder designed especially for speed and position feedback operations in AC and DC motors.
Today the optical scanning is even more precise and adds increased resolutions -2000, 2048 and 4096 PPR- at a max. counting frequency of 100 kHz. Thus C50 provides higher accuracy in positioning of general-purpose motors, closed loop stepper motors and both rotary and linear generic applications. Position information is yielded in square wave format with Index and complementary signals (AB0, /AB0) through Push-Pull (HTL) +10÷30VDC, Line Driver (TTL) +5VDC and Universal (PP/LD) +5÷30VDC output circuits.
The slim design boasts a 50-mm (1.97”) diameter housing with a reduced mounting depth of 30 mm only (1.18”) making it ideal to ease installation in applications where space is very tight and hence a primary concern.
