The Festival At Sandpoint

Join The Festival at Sandpoint for their 40th anniversary summer concert series, which kicked off July 27 and continues through August 6! Upcoming performances include the Family Show with Michael Franti & Friends at noon on Thursday, August 3, followed by Michael Franti & Spearhead with SOJA that evening. REO Speedwagon with Charlie Farren hit the stage Friday, August 4, followed by Ashley McBryde with Zach Top Saturday, August 5, and The Festival at Sandpoint concluding Sunday, August 6, with the Grand Finale: Princess Bride in Concert (with Wine and Beer Tasting Event for those 21 and older). Long Bridge Swim

The tradition continues for its 28th year, with this year's Long Bridge Swim set for Saturday, August 5. Registration is currently open to all swimmers of all ages and abilities. Don’t miss the chance to be a part of this special event, where you'll swim magnificent Lake Pend Oreille and enjoy the camaraderie. Registration is $55 and will increase after August 3. Pend Oreille Rowing And Paddling Sprints

Saturday, August 12, it's time for the PORPA Sprints on Priest River! Featuring fun races for all human-powered watercraft like SUPS, kayaks, canoes, rowing shells and rafts, this is also an opportunity to join Tribal members and experts in learning about the relationship the Kalispel people have with the Pend Oreille and other rivers in the area. Races take place 7am to 1pm, followed by lunch, awards, Kalispel Tribe presentation, and rowing shell demonstrations from 1 to 4pm. For additional details, and to register, visit PORPA.org.

BONNER COUNTY FAIR: MEMOORIES IN THE MAKING

2023 marks the 97th annual Bonner County Fair, with this year’s theme MeMOOries in the Making! Historically a gathering place for families and friends and a celebration of agriculture, the fair has evolved and grown over the years to include so much more! From 4-H's livestock and static exhibits, and petting zoo, to grandstand entertainment and activities for all ages, no summer is complete without a trip to the Bonner County Fair. Shakespeare In The Park

Montana Shakespeare in the Parks (ShakespeareintheParks.org) is making its way to Sandpoint's Lakeview Park Saturday, August 19. Don't miss this free summer event, which has been entertaining audiences since 1973. This year they will be performing Shakespeare's Measure for Measure. The performance begins at 5pm. Arrive early with your chairs, blankets and picnics, visit with friends and family, and enjoy pre-play performances.

KIDS' DAY AT THE MARKET

All Sandpoint youths are encouraged to join the Farmers Market at Sandpoint for Kids' Day at the Market, a one-day special event to sell their artwork, craft or farm products. This special event is for kids only from 9am to 1pm. Those interested in applying to be a vendor (pick up an application at the managers booth) must do so no later than Saturday, August 19.
