To kick off the weekend fun, there’s the Car d’Lane Cruise Friday evening. See these beauties roll by, rev up their engines, shoot flames and sound their horns. Sandpoint Rotary presents the 16th Annual CHAFE 150 Gran Fondo. CHAFE 150 treats riders to several fully stocked break stops, professional ride support, a larger-than-life after-ride party and prizes for top fundraisers. The ride takes place in Sandpoint, Idaho, and features the 150-mile route (a grand loop around the Cabinet Mountains) as well as magnificent 80-, 40- and 25-mile rides for riders of any level. There’s also the Family Fun Ride, which will start and finish at Sandpoint City Beach, with a fun out-and-back ride on the Sand Creek Trail. For 2023, they’ve also added the Gravel Route.
