Because our society is becoming increasingly security-conscious, the criminal justice field is growing rapidly and the demand for college-educated criminal justice professionals is on the rise. For this reason, employment in the fields of law enforcement, security, and corrections are all expected to increase roughly 10% by 2018, while employment of private detectives and investigators is expected to rise 22%.
