THE EXISITNG SITE ELEMENTS OF MOVEMENT IN THE OLD TRAIN TRACKS, WIND, AND WATER, LIGHTHOUSE AND BREAKWATER STRUCTURES ALL INSPIRED THE CONCEPT OF THE DESIGN. . . . .

THE MATERIAL OF THE TOWERS REFLECT LIGHT AND MIRROR MOVEMENTS OF THE WATER AND ALSO FRAMING VIEWS TO THE MOUNTAINS ON ONE SIDE AND OPEN VIEWS TO THE SEA ON THE OTHER.

A BRIDGE CONNECTED THE NEW KEELUNG HARBOR TOWERS CREATING OPEN NIGHT MARKETS AND PUBLIC SPACES BY DAY TO CONTEMPLATE MOMENTS BY THE SEA.

STUDY FORMATION 01. FAVELAS AS COMMUNITIES

GRAPHICAL REPRESENTATION OF THE SLUM GROWTH BEHAVIOR, AN ORGANIC ARCHITECTURE GROWTH AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE ASSEMBLY OF SLUM HOUSING AND HOW IT REACTS TO THE NATURAL LANDSCAPES OF MOUNTAINS AND RIVERS. IN ANALYZING THE ROCINHA FAVELAS AS A CASE STUDY, ONE CAN DETERMINE THE ADVANTAGES OF SLUM GROWTH: THE CONNECTIVITY OF COMMUNITIES, THE NATURAL FORMATION OF HOUSING UNITS CONFORMING TO THE EXISITNG LANDSCAPES AND PASSAGEWAYS, AND THESE RULES OF ASSEMBLY CAN THEN BE APPLIED TO VARIOUS SITES AND URBANSCAPES WITH DIFFERENT CONSTRAINTS OF INFRASTRUCTURE.
