Our MS in Consumer Analytics, MS in Global Fashion Supply Chain Management, MPS in Fashion Marketing, MPS in Fashion Merchandising and Retail Management, and MBA in Luxury Brand Management are STEM-designated programs.
Graduate students on an F-1 visa who receive a STEM degree can apply for a 24-month extension of their post-completion Optional Practical Training (OPT) if they have a job or job offer from an E-Verify employer and meet the required criteria.
Final determination to approve or deny post-completion OPT and the 24-month extension is made by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
CPT. OPT. GET ON THE FAST TRACK TO CAREER SUCCESS
Master’s degree students on F-1 visas can apply for CPT (Curricular Practical Training) starting in their first semester. LIM’s “Career Success Track” offers qualified students the ability to enroll in a 1-credit internship course in your first and second semesters, which includes the ability to work up to 20 hours per week in an approved internship position directly related to your program of study, then finish your program with a 3-credit internship in your final semester.*
