They, along with their farm manager, Jeff Kaufman, are building what we think is one of the best Limousin and Lim-Flex breeding programs in North America. We are also pleased that Sarah Marince, a 20-year-old up and coming country music artist from Pittsburgh who now calls Nashville home, will once again highlight the festivities on Friday evening before the sale. For those of you who haven’t been to the farm, you might find it interesting to know that the property has a long and rich agricultural history tracing back to the pre-colonial period and William Penn, from whom the Keystone State takes its name. It was Gerald and Helen Hood Swatsworth who sold the farm to us and introduced us to the Limousin breed. Helen’s family, who came from Ireland in 1856, bought the farm in 1885 and raised their children there. Interestingly, Gerry and Helen were Limousin breeders there for 22 years prior to our purchase. We’re excited to present to you this year what we believe to be some of the best animals in the breed. All females were produced from our own breeding program.

Although we have been in the cattle and farming business for many years, we are relatively new to the Limousin and Lim-Flex seedstock business.
