URBAN BATTERY —Skyscraper with waste recycling capacity —Buildings should not be the burden of a city Skyscrapers are always taken as a symbol of economic strength of a city or even a country. Because of huge investment and extremely complicated construction, skyscrapers are often found in the center of a city. However the tall figure hides massive resources consumed during the construction and daily operation. Finding a solution to deal with city waste is every city builder’s task. Taking advantage of the location of the skyscraper, it is convenient to collect, sort, store, transport, ferment and reuse the waste generated by its own and the surrounding buildings. The waste treatment facility, the vertical farm, the wind power equipment, landscapes, offices, apartments are all combined in one building, which make the skyscraper the primary battery for the city instead of a burden.

Waste Disposal System
Wind generator Using the wind effect of super-tall buildings, win·d turbines are placed on both sides of buildings, and the electricity generated can be supplied to the garbage disposal device under the building.
Garbage disposal plant The waste disposal unit USES the electricity generated by the building to process the collected waste, which is then burned and fermented to produce energy and fertilizer.
Vertical farming Using the energy and fertilizer generated from waste disposal, highly automated cash crop production can be carried out inside the building, and the crops produced can be directly supplied to the building interior.

Waste Disposal Process
Office area The office area located in the upper part of the building can reasonably use the power generated by garbage disposal and the vegetables grown by vertical agriculture. Daily generated garbage will be recycled into the treatment system.
The landscape platform located in the middle of the building can disperse the flow of people in the elevators leading to different areas, and has the function of entertainment and leisure.

THE THIRD SPACE —Community Center —Architects don't build walls. They build spaces amng walls As a natural consequence of global modernization, population ageing is proved to be a universal problem that exerts influence on the whole human society. The objective of this project is to inspire the potential connection between community members and to explore the alternatives they possess by offering a unique view on the living space in the area that suffers most badly from aging problems. In the research, I studied real thoughts of the young people in this area to learn the reasons of serious ageing problem caused by young labor outflow and tried to seek out a useful solution. The research indicates that one of the major reasons that caused the migration of young labor force is deficient and inadequate infrastructure.

The essential of this project is to analyze the field memories to locate and reinforce the lacking functions. During the completion of the functions, distinctive shared spaces are designed for children, juvenile and senior. Adjacent function modules are organically integrated to activate communication of the three generations.

Ubran Landscape Analysis The green space connecting the building and the main road of the city is included in the building, making the green space become the space for guiding the flow of people and tourists to stay temporarily. The corresponding entertainment facilities are set up in the area where the flow of people meets and stays, so that different groups of people can communicate and interact with others before entering the building.

LANDSCAPE SCHOOL —Primary and secondary school campus —Let architecture become the link between city and nature With the aggravation of urbanization process, the architecture of new urban area gradually loses its unique cultural and regional characteristics, characteristics and the antagonism between city and forest, human and nature is also gradually intensifying. The focus of the project is how to endow the city's history and intensifying culture to the rapidly developing new urban area, and how to properly handle the relationship between the city and nature. Buildings can be the bond between the city and nature, stop their harmful confrontation and promote integration. The occupation of plants everywhere in sight in the building provides students a space to get full rest and release. Green campus can also be the transition between city and nature.

Promote the relationship betweenarchitecture and nature, and explore the antagonism between city and nature in the design. Architecture is not an individual that exists alone in the city, but an organism that grows out of the reinforced concrete forest, making the organic combination and symbiosis between nature and city. The students can not only observe the distant natural landscape inside the school, but also feel the good experience brought by the rich greening inside the school.
Now, the school was built to allow nearby residents to use part of the school grounds on weekends for a series. Before the school was built, there was a lack of communication between the site and city and its inhabitants.

Functional & Activity Analysis
Urban Functional Connection
Architecture and city play a mutually promoting role in the development process. The architecture produced by urban expansion in turn promotes the improvement of its supporting facilities, and together, they promote the further development of the city.
Good educational resources promote the idea of parents coming here for employment.
The increase in the permanent population has enabled the government to add educational resources.
The increase in the number of inhabitants promoted the development of commerce around them.
The establishment of school has promoted the development of the surrounding early childhood education industry.
Green Building Measures By using natural precipitation and ventilation to alleviate the thermal effect in the building, water resources are recycled for irrigation of large areas of greening. In order to achieve the purpose of saving electricity and water, highlight the green benefits of the building.

HIGH LINE PARK —Comprehensive design of urban area —An unconventional City Park From my view, each city building is a utopia that holds dreams of people, therefore the common architecture should be open and share. share Wandering in the concrete jungle, people should feel relaxed and cheerful instead of depressed. This project is to transform the abandoned urban viaduct and surroundings to meet citizens’ demand of common urban space which is rare in the space which includes commercial, metropolis. It is an overall plan for the space, office, landscape, traffic and other different kinds of buildings. The original site is transformed into an urban common space for students, workers, residents and tourists. And intelligent devices make the whole building group smart.
Condition of the Site
History Analysis
The site is located in the core of the university town and residential area, and is also the intersection of two subway lines, so the traffic is very convenient. However, the surrounding area has a large population density, dense buildings and a lack of suitable public activity space.
Demand Analysis
Proposed Strategy
Site Plan
01 - Site planning Based on the property of building land around the site, the required functions within the site are planned.
02 - Functional requirements Let the building functions on and off the site complement each other and use the demand to determine the function.
03 - Form generated Make the form of the building fit the city road and the surrounding buildings, the logic of the form change conforms to the function of the building and the facilities outside the site.
04 - Public space The public Spaces inside and outside the site coordinate with each other to give full play to the accessibility of the roads within the site and ensure the convenient use of residents. The road connects the public space in the site with different buildings to increase the accessibility of the block. The main building connects the city high line park, making the old and new buildings organically integrate.

Timely Through the use of intelligent devices to increase the user's experience and convenience in the building.
Traffic Not in time There are many disadvantages in the way of mutual inquiry and mutual notification, and the timeliness can not be guaranteed.
Traffic Now the use of the Internet and mobile app can be timely, efficient and accurate to find the functions in the building.
