Furniture, furnishing, household services, etc.

In contemporary society commodity goods no longer serve to eliminate the deficit for which they were originally designed. The desire to consume is often portrayed as a natural human characteristic that cannot be changed. But the way people consume and what they consume is in constant transformation. In Denmark with density and housing shortage, the spending pattern of danes has shifted since 80’s from a food focused expenditure to one where housing is one of the biggest single monthly expense. Moreover If we look at the covers of magazines through out the time, the ownership of home was always emphasized and idealized. Therefore with this wish comes the furnishing and buying new objects for your cozy house. And Bo Bedre magazine helped to pile up things, by promoting the possession of objects.
