The annual awards program recognizes excellence and leadership in the apartment housing industry, celebrating builders, industry professionals, and affiliated apartment associations that make unique contributions to the industry. This is the third consecutive year that Lincoln Military Housing received this honor. In 2018, the Village at NTC and in 2019, Heroes Manor, Camp Lejeune, received the Best Community (Military) NAA Excellence Award.

Lincoln Military Housing was recently recognized during the virtual ceremony on November 5th.

“Seaside Village represents the very best of what privatized housing has to offer our military families. We are immensely proud of the recognition our team has received from the families who live with us and the validation of that recognition through this industry award. We look forward to building on this success and getting even better in the years to come,” said Kevin Clarke, National VP of Construction & Environmental Services.

Seaside Village has previously been recognized for its environmental efforts including; achieving a Silver Level LEED Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for the installation of solar panels being installed throughout the community. In addition, Seaside Village is viewed as a Low Impact Development (LID) for the efforts in improving

stormwater runoff quality and must retain at least the 85th percentile storm volume on-site. The site irrigation system was split and designed to accommodate the future use of reclaimed water.

The award-winning community was built in 2017 and is conveniently located on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, providing scenic views of the Pacific Ocean and the Oceanside Harbor.

This military community offers three- and four-bedroom floorplans and is home to senior enlisted and officer families. The community boasts 250 duplex style three- and four-bedroom homes, 25 of which are ADA accessible.

Each home was built with an energy-efficient design. Kitchens are equipped with Energy Star rated appliances, quartz countertops, solid wood cabinets, and a breakfast bar. All homes include a full-sized laundry room with a utility sink and ample storage throughout. Each home has an attached two-car garage and private fenced in backyard.

Residents have access to 24- hour emergency maintenance, free lock-out service, playgrounds, dog parks, large open grass fields with gazebos and barbeque grills, and picnic tables throughout. The community includes a state-of-theart clubhouse (includes a game room, a fully equipped gym, and a heated pool with lifeguards). Families have access to exclusive resident events in and around the community.
