Snapfinger/I-20 East Sees Highest Absorption, Deliveries in Five Years
ABSORPTION, DELIVERIES AND VACANCY RATE
The Snapfinger/I-20 East Industrial Submarket saw positive absorption of 350,181 square feet in Q1 of 2022, bringing the submarket’s total over the last 12 months to positive absorption of over 1.6 million square feet. This is the highest total over any 12-month period that the submarket has seen since 2016. The submarket’s vacancy rate fell 70 basis points (0.7%) in Q1 of 2022, back in line with the mid-2021 vacancy rate after Snapfinger/I-20 East Industrial Submarket had four buildings totaling 1,382,593 square feet deliver in Q4 of 2021. 3 buildings totaling 694,915 broke ground in the submarket in Q1, bringing the total square feet under construction to 1,696,252.
