Dear Traveller, I’m pleased to announce that for the first time since March of 2020, our entire fleet is back on the water, taking guests to the far corners of our planet on vessels that feature between just 14 and 81 cabins with plenty of solo cabins on many of them. Our ships are, of course, not the only vessels out at sea these days—recently, there has been an explosion of new
economical; however, that creates another kind of cost, diluting the value of time—more people, more waiting, less time exploring your destination. Ultimately, you must make your own value judgment on the cost. Size and expedition excellence is not all we focus on—our ships are rather elegant as well, providing wonderful food, exceptional comfort, and a decades-long
It’s probably not much debated among people familiar with the expedition cruise niche that Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic has the most experienced expedition teams and mariners in the world, and that’s because we have been exclusively engaged in expedition travel for over half a century. Naturally, in this time, we have learned a great deal about geography, weather conditions, and what works and doesn’t work. These elements all contribute to the value of your expedition—but one of the most significant factors in your experience is the size of the vessel you travel on.
In the following pages you can explore an almost dizzying array of uniquely immersive voyages around the world. Regardless of where you choose to explore, what I promise is that we are laser focused on you—your aspirations and your time. We understand deeply what it takes to create meaningful expeditions, while at the same time seeking out creative and effective ways to be good stewards of our planet.
ships entering the expedition cruise world.
When you look through these pages, you will find all kinds of ships. What they have in common is that each carries a relatively small number of guests. When we contemplate building, acquiring, or chartering a ship, we think about where it’s going and what its purpose is, and guest capacity is a critical part of the conversation. Captains, expedition leaders, naturalists, engineers, and executives all weigh in to determine a limit that allows us to use your time well, safely and enjoyably manage a variety of activities, and ensure that our presence is not intrusive. Of course, cost is the downside to a smaller number of guests. If you build ships with two, three or four times the carrying capacity of our ships, they are more

commitment to providing the highest level of service.
Although I have been the CEO of this company for more than 40 years, my first two decades combined that role with the responsibilities of an expedition leader. I feel so good about our rootedness; our teams; our collective enthusiasm; our love for nature, culture, and history; and above all our principles, the first one being: ensure that everything we do adds value to the guest experience. I hope you choose to join us out there soon. Sincerely,
Sven-Olof Lindblad
WHAT TO EXPECT
Expedition Cruising for Solo Travellers If setting out solo to a place like the Galápagos seems intimidating, an expedition cruise could be your answer. Step aboard the Lindblad
Expeditions-National Geographic fleet and become part of a welcoming family of like-
minded travellers and engaging experts driven by a passion for exploration.
Why are expedition cruises a good fit for solo travellers? Expedition cruises offer the opportunity to
explore alongside people who share your curiosity about the world. Travellers are excited to get to know one another—it’s part of the instinct for discovery that brought them on board. And yet, there is enough flexibility to do your own thing when you feel inclined.
What happens when travellers arrive in the departure city? You are taken care of from the time you touch
down in your embarkation city to the moment you are returned back to the airport. We can work with you to book the most direct flights, and once you arrive at your destination, a Lindblad representative will be waiting to escort you to the next leg of your journey.
How does the dining experience work? The dining room has an open seating policy,
meaning you’ll never have to eat alone—unless, of course, you choose to. Simply pick a table you would like to join. Maybe find a familiar face from the day’s Zodiac outing or sit with your favourite naturalist.
Great Barrier Island, New Zealand.
Can you participate in all activities if you’re a solo traveller? Daily adventures are designed to be flexible and
inclusive for every guest. In fact, couples or families sometimes split up to pursue their individual interests, so there are often several travellers looking for a kayak partner or a snorkeling buddy.
Do solo travellers stay in single cabins or can they share with other guests? All our ships have options for solo travellers.
Some vessels feature dedicated solo cabins, while on others you might stay alone in a double cabin. If you are looking to share accommodations, let our Expedition Specialists know when you call to make your reservation.
What are some of the best trips for solo travellers? All of our expeditions provide a rewarding
experience for the solo traveller. Choose a trip based on the destination that fascinates you, knowing that the rest will fall into place. Each voyage is an opportunity to experience something outside your comfort zone within a completely safe and friendly community.

NEW & NOTEWORTHY
New Expeditions & Additional Departures We are pleased to announce that 2025 and 2026 departures are now available for booking, including on a range of compelling new voyages that will take travellers along the Nile, through the Pacific Northwest, and beyond.
Next year, Food & Wine and Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic are launching an exclusive new collaboration to take travellers on an immersive culinary journey along the Columbia and Snake Rivers. Travelling aboard National Geographic Sea Bird or National Geographic Sea Lion, enjoy unique culinary experiences that bring you straight to the source of the Pacific Northwest’s wild bounty. Along the way, guests will sample wines personally selected by Food & Wine magazine editors and travel with experts who will guide you through the region's diverse terroirs. Lindblad Expeditions is also joining forces with National Geographic to enhance and expand our travel experiences in Egypt. Beginning in 2024, National Geographic Experts—such as archaeologists or National Geographic Photography Experts—accompany select Egypt journeys to help us unearth the stories of this ancient civilisation. Following the onset of this alliance, we will debut a new, nine-day expedition for 2025. Spend four days exploring the Nile aboard our newly chartered ship, Sun Goddess—a stylish vessel that channels a boutique Cairene hotel. In addition to this new expedition, we have added more 2024 departures of our classic 12-day journey, Passage Through Egypt aboard Oberoi Philae. New Sea Cloud II expeditions include several 2024 journeys to Italy, Croatia, and Slovenia. By popular demand, we are also bringing back a selection of celebrated voyages from past expedition seasons for 2025. Our polar ships will once again sail Wild Coasts of Argentina, South Georgia, & the Falklands and Svalbard in Spring: Polar Bears, Arctic Light & Epic Ice.

Exploration for Every Generation
In 2024, we are offering additional departures of A Circumnavigation of Iceland and Wild Iceland Escape to accommodate more multigenerational families. LIFE ON BOARD
Cheers! On-Board Beverages Celebrate There’s no better way to kick off a voyage than with a glass of bubbly or a cocktail. Make that drink one that speaks to your destination and you’ve just elevated your entire travel experience. With new beverage perks—including unlimited alcoholic drinks across the entire fleet beginning in 2024*—as well as immersive culinary experiences, Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic is giving travellers more reason than ever to raise a toast. Each evening on expedition, when you gather for a recap of the day’s adventures, you can look forward to a specially crafted cocktail—full strength or zeroproof—that your bartender has dreamed up as a nod to your travel region. That might mean toasting with a gin and tonic off the Cornish coast, sipping a zeroproof highball that captures the colour of a famous iceberg, or savouring a sparkling drink made with local fruits. That destination-driven ethos extends to each ship’s wine and beer selection, which features local bottles and draughts wherever possible. Guests can also enjoy singular experiences on and off ship that highlight local beverages. On-board beer, wine, and spirit
tastings are a favourite no matter the destination. Shore excursions, meanwhile, offer a firsthand look at a region’s wineries and distilleries, and a chance to meet with passionate local experts. Guests in Alaska, for instance, can visit the pint-sized Port Chilkoot Distillery and learn how the pure tasting notes of local spring water give their vodka its ultra-clean finish. *Super-premium wines and spirits are available for an additional charge.
10
Sustainability is always a consideration for Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic, and the beverages served are no exception. “We find spirits that speak to our mission,” says Ana Esteves, Vice President of Hotel Operations. On West Coast itineraries, you may encounter Gothic Gin, which partners with conservation groups like Fins Attached. “They give to the whale and research communities—we know that every bottle we’re buying contributes to a good cause,” says Esteves. Dynamic culinary experiences, too, offer a chance for thoughtful pairings. On the National Geographic Resolution and National Geographic Endurance, special dinners delve into the history of exploration through a refined seven-course tasting menu, complete with two wine pairings from local or sustainably minded growers. Finish your meal with a nightcap that nods to the theme of the evening—on the National Geographic Endurance, which takes its name from Ernest Shackleton’s ship, you might sip a whiskey-based drink and learn how whiskey was both a vital tool and welcome indulgence for early polar explorers fighting the bitter cold.
