New Expeditions & Additional Departures

In 2023, voyage to the top of the globe on two new Arctic itineraries. South Greenland Exploration: Fjords, Waterfalls & Fishing Villages is a deep dive into Inuit culture and Viking history set amid Greenland’s dazzling icescapes, while Gateway to the Northwest Passage: Greenland & Canada takes travelers on a thrilling journey above 80° north, in the wake of history’s great polar explorers.

We are also adding new departures aboard the state-of-the-art National Geographic Endurance for two of our most popular Arctic expeditions: the 17-day Norway’s Fjords & Arctic Svalbard and the 11-day Norwegian Discovery: Svalbard & the Northern Fjords . Each voyage combines several days in Norway’s spectacular fjord lands with an exploration of wild Svalbard, where polar bears outnumber people.

The 2024 season brings The Glaciers of Prince William Sound—our first-ever voyage to this remote region, harboring an astounding 150 glaciers. On the other side of the globe, sail between bustling, neon-lit cities and wild, jungle-fringed beaches on Journey through Southeast Asia: Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia & Malaysia. Or venture to the African continent for one of two coastal voyages: Exploring East Africa and Madagascar: Wildlife and Wonders or a journey along Egypt’s storied shorelines.

Delve into ancient and modern European cultures during a circumnavigation of the Irish Sea and on Crossroads of the Mediterranean: A Voyage Through Greece, Malta & Sicily. We are also launching immersive voyages in Italy, Croatia, and Slovenia aboard Sea Cloud II, the latest ship to join our fleet.
