Experience the World from a New Perspective

Ships Equipped for Immersive Exploration

Our expedition ships bear the National Geographic name because they are equipped for in-depth exploration. Stocked with tools like remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) and hydrophones, these expedition vessels enhance undersea and onshore discovery for our guests—and for the explorers and researchers who join select departures. Most of our small ships are also outfitted with a fleet of kayaks, paddleboards, and Zodiacs for up-close exploration at water level.

A World-Class Photography Program

A National GeographicLindblad Expeditions

certified photo instructor (CPI) joins every expedition and a National Geographic photographer accompanies select departures. Every guest—from smartphone camera users to advanced hobbyists—can stand side by side with these top photographers, pick up tips in the field, and return home with the photos of a lifetime.

TEST & LEARN: On select ships, travelers have access to a complimentary OM System Photo Gear Locker, stocked with lenses, camera bodies, and other equipment that they can test in the field.

Inspiring the Next Generation of Explorers

The National Geographic Global Explorers program* fosters the next generation of global stewards through hands-on, educational activities in naturally fun and fascinating places—from Baja California to the Galápagos. Our certified field educators are inspiring mentors who help kids connect with nature in a deeper way, sending them home with a newfound passion for the planet that lasts a lifetime.

Commitment to Conservation

Every voyage we sail gives back to the places we explore through the Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic Fund. Together with our guests, we have invested more than $22 million to protect our oceans, restore marine and coastal habitats, and foster environmental stewardship around the world.
