After years of yo-yo dieting, the mum of Bluebell, 6, has found a well-rounded approach to fitness. “Geri is all about yoga, healthy eating — and clothes that flatter her shape!” says a source close to Halliwell, 40, who wore a Suzanne Neville creation for the show. “She is finally comfortable in her own skin and feels better than ever.”
No pigtails here! The sweetfaced radio host, 36 (in a hot-pink minidress by costume designer Maggie Cooke), credits her slimdown to three-times-aweek workouts. “Emma likes running on the treadmill,” says a source of the mom to Beau, 5, and Tate, 15 months. “She’s very happy with her body these days!”
Sporty — known for her tracksuits and trainers — took a page from Posh in a sleek Nafisa Tosh jumpsuit. “Now that I’m a mom [to Scarlet, 3], I feel more feminine,” she has said. “It’s fun to enjoy fashion!” Her sixth solo disc drops in September, but Mel C, 38, tells Us of the one-night Spice reunion: “We had the best time!”
The mom of three (Phoenix, 13, Angel, 5, and Madison, 11 months) has still got it! Mel B, 37 — who reportedly does 600 situps a day — managed to steal the show in a twinkling Zuhair Murad bodysuit. “Mel does one- to two-hour treadmill workouts with playlists made by DJ Lindsay Luv,” says a source. She hikes too!

Thirteen Stylish 2013 Resolutions from MA Native DJ Lindsay Luv Friday, January 4, 2013, by Susie Kostaras

It takes a hustle to earn the title "DJ to the Stars"—but that is exactly what Sharon, MA native Lindsay Luv sought out to do years ago. An inspiration not only to up-and-coming DJs but also business mavens and powerful women in general, LA-based Lindsay sets an example to follow in her career behind the turntable, as trusted brand advocate, and with her lifestyle blog, Luv Lifestyle. Recently, she mixed a playlist for the official Victoria's Secret Fashion Show party and flew to Dubai with Armani Privé, and earlier this year, was the subject of an in-depth feature on Miss KL, the ladies' wing of Boston e-tailer Karmaloop. What does this go-getter resolve to work on this year? Let's break it down... FASHION · Hot Hues! Work 2013's must-have bold colors like emerald green and fuschia berry into your wardrobe. · Put a pin on it. Brooches are all the rage this upcoming year, so dig through grandma's jewelry box for the goods. New or vintage, it's all about the brooch bling. · Dare to bare...in a sheer skirt and fabulous knickers. Sheer skirts and full coverage fashion knickers is the daring new trend about to emerge and why not take a walk on the wild side? · Dress to impress...yourself! Ditch the trends that look better on the runway than your body and focus on the ones that make you feel as great as you look...and vice versa. BEAUTY · Start to let the ombre grow out...completely. And while we are at it, let the My Little Pony hair colors take a little rest too. 2013 is about natural, polished and chic hair. · Stay suspended in time: more SPF y'all! Upgrade to a better and higher SPF for the new year and keep you looking as young as the last. · Let your lips do the talking with bright and bold lip colors like the shocking hot pinks from Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tars or Tarte's lip stains. FITNESS
· Go beyond 2012's ever trendy kale and try out 2013's hottest new greenery: Swiss chard. While you're at it, add more whole grains to the mix with bulgur, farro, barley and buckweat. It's not just about quinoa this year. · Let nature be your gym: long walks, hill hikes, outdoor tracks, jungle gyms and more are great playgrounds for fitness with a refreshing view. · Track your diet and fitness goals with new easy to use on-the-go apps on your mobile phone. And get inspired with great fitness friendly mixes with the app for top DJ mix site TheFuture.fm. SHOPPING · Recycle! Set your own trends by remixing the wardrobe you already own. Get innovative by putting together new looks with old pieces and save some money. · Sale stalk. Get to know your favorite brands' sale schedules and wait until those must-have pricey items go on sale to snag what you want without breaking the bank. · Support your local boutiques. In a time where everything is suddenly online at the touch of a finger, it is that much more fun to go shopping in person. Support locally while you still have the option to try something on before you press purchase. · DJ Lindsay Luv on making a fashion-forward playlist for NYE [Stylephile] · Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Party Mix [Thefuture.fm] · Lindsay Luv Brings Her Beats to Dubai [Société Perrier] · This Miss KL: Lindsay Luv [Miss KL] · DJ Lindsay Luv [Official Site]

How do you create a great mix for Valentine's Day that's at once romantic and cool? Creating the right Valentine's Day mix is about finding songs that are current, hip, and melodically pleasant that both set the mood and hint at love and romance without bashing you over the head with it. I tend to think old school love ballads, sappy R&B, or the obvious top love tracks of all time tend to bash people over the head with it and induce eye rolling and cringing (especially from the fellas) and might do the opposite of setting the mood. They may even scare your partner away. The best way to create a great romance-inducing mix is to pick current and cool indie songs and maybe a few really great throwbacks with a playlist flow that starts out upbeat and unassuming and melts into something sexy and softer as the night heads that way as well. How about some old love songs that aren't overly sappy? A really old throwback mixed in to your playlist, such as the classic "Crimson and Clover," is cool, but I would generally stay away from Whitney Houston love ballads and Boys to Men harmonies unless it's a theme party. If you have a record player, blues or jazz can be totally romantic in the right setting. For a more modern playlist, there are tons of great indie tracks that set the mood, appropriately allude to topics of love, are gender-neutral, and won't make you or your partner want to gag. Any particular genres to look for? I would say indie, chill-out, oldies, singer-songwriter, blues, jazz, and maybe some contemporary R&B. Any particular artists? If you don't have time to put together an actual playlist, entire albums from artists like Washed Out, Thievery Corporation, Zero 7, Beach House, Radiohead, or an oldie like Sam Cooke are generally relaxing and romantic with a great flow to set the mood. Anything to avoid that might kill the mood? I would avoid songs that label you as a psycho, like "You Oughta Know" by Alanis Morissette, or something over-the-top dramatic like "Right Here Waiting For You" by Richard Marx, or something tweeny like a Justin Bieber's "As Long as You Love Me," or "Call Me Maybe" by Carly Rae Jepsen. No adult wants to make out while listening to childlike radio hits. Is there an order you should play the songs? Start with this, lead up to this, mellow out with this? (Seduction, sex, cigarette ...) I think there is always a good flow to romantic playlists. Whether it's your first date or you've been married for 30 years, you want to spend some time seducing, you want to get down to business, and then you want to relax together. I would start with more upbeat stuff to keep it easy, flirty and comfortable to start,
get into a little sexier tunes later in the evening, and flow into chill-out tracks for the end. Sounds good. What clubs are you playing at these days? I have been at my residency at the Mondrian Skybar in Los Angeles every Saturday night for 3+ years, which is always a blast. The rest of the time I divide between fashion, brand and celebrity events, and touring. I just got back from playing at the Armani PrivĂŠ nightclub in Dubai and now I am heading to New York to play at the Daily Style Sessions at Stone Rose Lounge for Fashion Week. I have also been doing a lot of behind the scenes work as a brand music specialist having created and supplied mixes for Victoria's Secret radio station and Lucille Roberts gyms on TheFuture.fm! I have a lot of exciting collaborations and music marketing projects developing with numerous brands and clientele this year as well as work on my own lifestyle blog Luvlifestyle.
