Hi! I’m Lindsay. I am a wife, a mother and a photographer based out of Louisville, Kentucky. When I’m not behind the camera you can find me with outside with my family at the park or pool. We take total advantage of the sunshine every chance we get! I began my photography career in 2011. I feel very fortunate to have found my dream job and passion in life. One of my favorite things in the world is the ability to share in the love of two adults as they come together as one. I feel blessed to get to work with such wonderful people!

What to Expect GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR ENGAGEMENT & BRIDAL SESSIONS

LOCATION add more personality to your photos by choosing the location of your session! whether itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s the local coffee shop or a park where you first met, let us know if there is a place that is sentimental to you!

WHAT TO WEAR wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident. Start by choosing your outfit. if your outfit has a pattern or a lot of texture to it, choose something solid for him. Too many patterns and textures can be distracting. make sure the colors and style of each outfit complements each other. I do suggest at least two different outfits to give some diversity in your photos. most couples choose a more formal outfit and a casual outfit. if you do choose a formal outfit we will start with that. I recommend staying away from logos, crazy patterns and neon colors.

FOR HER if you would like to do a hair and makeup trial run before your wedding day, this would be a perfect time to do that however it is not necessary. donâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t stress about blemishes or putting on extra makeup. do have your nails done and your ring clean. I will take some close up shots.

PROPS props are fun and they make your photos unique! I suggest using props that reflect your relationship and your personalities. for example, a tin boat for a couple that loves the outdoors. please let me know if you have any props you would like to use. some ideas for props are an old car or truck, books, vintage chair, uniforms, ice cream cones, a vintage blanket, guitar or a picnic.

THE DETAILS COUNT rings, jewlery, hair pieces, flowers, shoes, socks, cuff links, letters, pictures, gifts, cultural items, invitations, programs, printed pieces, dress, bouquet, and any unique items youâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;ve put thought into.

to ensure your day runs smoothly, gather all of your details before the day starts. I will capture most of them while you are getting ready. getting these done early allows me to spend more time capturing those other special moments. if you have any specific ideas for your detail shots or want to make certain heirlooms make it into your wedding album, be sure to let me know ahead of time.

CONSIDER GETTING A WOODEN HANGER FOR YOUR DRESS. THEY PHOTOGRAPH WELL AND ARE GREAT KEEPSAKES FOR YEARS TO COME.

Frequently Asked Questions ANSWERS TO HELP GUIDE YOU THROUGH

Q: Do I have to order prints through you? A: No not at all. If you decide not to go with my professional lab, that is okay. Just be aware that the images don't look the same printed as they do on the screen. You may see orange or green skin tones, very dark blacks, and other printing errors. The best consumer lab that I have found is http://www.mpix.com/. Although it is not ideal, it is the better than most. Make sure to turn off auto-correct. It will ruin the image. Also, please keep in mind that I cannot guarantee the image quality or color of consumer photo labs. Q: What equipment do you use? A: I use all of the newest Nikon equipment. I use a D750 camera body, 50mm lens, 24-70mm lens, a 70-200mm lens along with a few other items. I also have backups in the rare event that anything should malfunction. Q: How do we reserve our date? A: To book your date, a signed contract with a 30% retainer is required. The remaining 70% is due 30 days prior to your wedding date. Q: Do you ever book two weddings on one day? A: No, never. I actually only book one wedding per week. Photography is not a â&#x20AC;&#x153;jobâ&#x20AC;? for me, it is something I truly enjoy. I like to focus more on quality and not on quantity.

Q: Do I need a second shooter? A: Need? No. Instead, think of a second shooter as buying insurance. In the rare instance (which has never happened) that I were physically unable to photograph your wedding, the second shooter would take on the roll. You will also receive more images, more angles and if we run behind on time, you have two of us to capture more.
