Recently​ ​a​ ​sales​ ​tax​ ​increase​ ​was​ ​approved​ ​to​ ​fund​ ​road​ ​improvements​ ​and​ ​maintenance​ ​in​ ​Centralia.​ ​How do​ ​you​ ​feel​ ​this​ ​program​ ​is​ ​working​ ​so​ ​far​ ​and​ ​what​ ​do​ ​you​ ​feel​ ​the​ ​priorities​ ​regarding​ ​this​ ​funding​ ​should​ ​be if​ ​you​ ​are​ ​a​ ​council​ ​person.

Tell​ ​us​ ​what​ ​you​ ​think​ ​the​ ​role​ ​of​ ​the​ ​Centralia-Chehalis​ ​Chamber​ ​is​ ​for​ ​the​ ​City​ ​of​ ​Centralia​ ​and​ ​share​ ​your thoughts​ ​on​ ​a​ ​fully​ ​funded​ ​Chamber​ ​managed​ ​visitor’s​ ​center​ ​for​ ​the​ ​$40,000​ ​that​ ​we​ ​request​ ​annually. ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Grade:___D____​ ​Comments: *I​ ​don’t​ ​see​ ​the​ ​duplication​ ​of​ ​services​ ​on​ ​behalf​ ​of​ ​the​ ​Chamber​ ​with​ ​groups​ ​like​ ​Discover​ ​Lewis​ ​County​ ​since the​ ​Chamber​ ​has​ ​been​ ​doing​ ​it​ ​for​ ​years​ ​it​ ​would​ ​be​ ​just​ ​the​ ​opposite.​ ​The​ ​Chamber​ ​has​ ​a​ ​visitors​ ​center​ ​that directs​ ​tourists​ ​to​ ​our​ ​local​ ​businesses​ ​not​ ​just​ ​the​ ​tourism​ ​destinations. *The​ ​budget​ ​is​ ​presented.​ ​The​ ​partners​ ​you​ ​have​ ​mentioned​ ​that​ ​the​ ​Chamber​ ​duplicates​ ​do​ ​not​ ​operate​ ​a visitors​ ​center. *Disappointed​ ​that​ ​Rebecca​ ​doesn’t​ ​understand​ ​what​ ​the​ ​Chamber​ ​does​ ​currently​ ​via​ ​LTAC.​ ​Needs​ ​to educated​ ​herself!
