Renovation
This project was completed during my Summer Practicum at Cristi Holcombe Interiors. The project consisted of a full-scale bathroom renovation in which the designer selected new finishes and bathroom equipment, and reconfigured the existing floor plan. For this project, I was responsible for creating a SketchUp presentation, drawing floor plans and vanity dresser detail plans in AutoCad, specifying all finishes, furniture, and equipment, and creating a digital client presentation.

Restaurant
El ojo de halcón, which translates to hawkeye, is a casual, full service dining experience that specializes in authentic, Spanish cuisine. The restaurant features a full liquor bar area, which will feature
house-made sangria and traditional mixed drinks and brews, as well as a large outdoor seating option. The space implements natural elements
throughout, traditional Spanish design elements such as handmade patterned tiles, and the sporadic use of bright
colors. Food offerings will focus mainly on shareable “tapas,” similar to appetizers, and encourage guests to engage in interaction with others and creating relationships.

Gainesville, FL. This facility is part of a four-story building that houses other specialties. This space is a 4,000 square foot facility located on an existing site that has minimal opportunity for outdoor connections in the architecture beyond the curtain wall. This new clinic has an approach
to the delivery of care that is patient centered,
comprehensive, coordinated, & accessible. Inspiration for this healthcare clinic was drawn from Gainesville’s Cellon Oak Tree. Live oak trees symbolize strength, longevity, and integration. They grow for centuries and withstand many of nature’s natural disasters while retaining their beauty
and strength. These trees have enormous canopies that provide a haven for its ecosystem’s inhabitants. The
University of Florida’s Women's Wellness Clinic aims to
create a safe haven for its patients. The various amenities within the clinic create a holistic environment that encourages
patient health and is efficient for patients and staff. Natural and durable elements promote wellness and connect the occupants to nature. Accessible and
modular features will create a comfortable environment in which patients will feel confident and want to invest in their health. The relaxing and regenerative space will lead patients to feel wholesome, strong, and pure.

Competition
The carpet design for the ballroom and pre-event areas will embrace a timeless design inspired by the luxurious fashions of the 1920s while also portraying a contemporary style. This is achieved by including classic patterns and colors that are currently on trend. Rich colors of blue and turquoise along with hints of golden shimmer are implemented into the color pallet and will convey l u x u r i o u s n e s s , w i s d o m , c o n fi d e n c e a n d intelligence. With the mixed used of geometric and organic lines, the space will be inviting, exciting, and active.

Inspired by Dorothy Draper’s most popular
