- 02 BREATH IN AND OUT Master Design Studio Housing Stream 2022

The Housing studio design project is a residential complex in Surry Hills with some retail/commercial uses included. The studio aims to investigate and uncover the potentialities of architectural porosity in addressing a range of recurrent and problematic dwelling situations in contemporary apartment design in Sydney. It emphasizes on the relationships between things, especially social relationships and site relationships.

- 03 WINGS OF DESIRE Bachelor Design Studio 5 2021 The province with the largest distribution of ethnic minorities in China is Yunnan Distinct minority groups cherish their unique cultures, often thriving in artistic domains like dance. This mosaic of civilizations sparks immense pride, highlighting the urgency of preserving and propagating such heritage. As society evolves, the once-intimate human-animal connection wanes, with birds now playing a pivotal role in urban life. Yunnan Province, for instance, proudly houses the majestic peacock. Artists ingeniously fuse wildlife and folk dance to convey culture more exquisitely. Our theater unites dance with nature, safeguarding both culture and animals. - 04 EYES OPEN WIDELY Bachelor Design Studio 6 2021 The topic is about bushfire in the Finders Chase area. After analyzing the site, I found that key contributors to bushfires are increased summer temperatures, reduced rainfall, the presence of flammable eucalyptus trees, and dry, acidic sandy soil. Additionally, prevailing southwest-to-northeast winds in the summer accelerate fire spread. To address this, I propose building a multifunctional watchtower that can detect smoke, monitor wind speed, temperature, and humidity, and provide fire alarms during the summer. The watchtower’s location is chosen based on resident density, historical fire incidents, and the prevalence of eucalyptus trees Kangaroo Island, South Australia
