WYRE FLOUNDERS DISABLED ADULT SWIMMING CLUB at the Fleetwood YMCA Swimming pool every Saturday at 5pm. The pool is hired for one hour for adult swimmers. We have members with arthritis, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, previous heart or cancer issues as well as requiring no crowds. We meet at 4.45 ready to swim. Cost £5. New members welcome. We travel by coach and start at Fleetwood picking up in Cleveleys, Thornton, the River Wyre and the main road at Little Eccleston. LANCASHIRE WEST TREFOIL GUILD Trefoil Guild is Guiding for Adults. We are able to support and offer help to Rainbows, Brownies and Guides locally if needed. However we hold our own meetings which include interesting talks, eating our, day trips and weekends away. Each Guild in West Lancashire have a varied programme. We are looking forward in 2023 which will prove to be exciting once again, I am sure. Our Poulton Guild met in January for coffee at Booths in Poulton. The Annual Meeting will take place on 7th February when the Mayor of Wyre Borough, Councillor Robinson, will attend. If you wish to meet new friends, or you may have just moved into the area, you might like to join us.
