Mike Sweeney’s Manchester Beat Broadcasting legend Mike Sweeney and his infamous Manchester Beat take to the stage in 2018 in a show packed with classic hits. As lead singer of The Salford Jets, Mike had a string of hit singles in the 70’s and 80’s including “Who You Looking At” and “Looking at the Squares”. His music career has also seen him fronting 60’s hit band The Mindbenders (Groovy Kind of Love – which later became a massive hit for Phil Collins) during the 80’s and 90’s, and time as lead vocalist with another legendary 60’s band, The Swinging Blue Jeans (Hippy Hippy Shake). Mike is currently the host of BBC Radio Manchester’s Morning Show, where his absolute authority on music (particularly the sounds of the Sixties) coupled with his funny and straight-talking views unsurprisingly draw flocks of fans every day. As well as being a radio star and a bit of a rocker, Mike has also done lots of TV, including the anarchic pop show “Elvis Has Left The Building” for Sky TV’s Granada Plus channel. Don’t miss this rare opportunity of seeing one of Salford’s finest, live in concert! Venue: Middleton Arena Doors Open: 7pm Show starts: 7.30pm. Finish time 10pm (approx)

His shows contain music featured on his studio albums including ‘God’s Plan’, ‘Life Is A River’ and ‘Hold on to your Hat’.
Rosalind is emerging as one of the most internationally sought after young violists winning five prizes in the Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition in 2013 and many others. Playing in all the major concert halls of England, she continues to astound her audiences. “Ventris has risen to the top of the tree in a short time through the power of her musical personality” The Press York Venue: Heywood Civic Centre Tickets: Adults £15, Concessions £13 Students £5, Children £1 Programmes 50p Raffle | Licenced Bar
Derek Ryan in Concert
Derek’s rise to stardom on the country scene has been at a phenomenal rate, with few other country stars having made such an impact. With two Irish Number One albums, sell-out shows at home and abroad and fistfuls of music awards to his name including Entertainer Of The Year, Album Of The Year and Best Live Performer. But he is perhaps proudest of the award winning recognition for his song writing abilities at the Sunday World and Irish Country Music Awards. Dozens of artists including evergreen multi-million selling star Daniel O’Donnell underlined the industry wide admiration for Derek’s song writing talents by recording versions of God’s Plan. Since then, with a combination of terrific talent, admirable determination and a continuous desire to do better, Derek’s career has kept on reaching progressively greater heights. Bootleg Blondie
Roy Orbison & the Traveling Wilburys Experience 30th Anniverary Tour
BOOTLEG BLONDIE is the official Debbie Harry & Blondie tribute band and the only Blondie tribute to play the legendary CBGBs in New York City before its demise in 2006. CBGB was the Holy Grail of American Punk and New Wave, where the real Blondie first kicked off their career. Debbie and Andy got married in March 2016 and to their great delight received two video messages from both Blondie and Debbie Harry herself congratulating them on their wedding day. What a wedding present! And probably the best Xmas present in the world ever was in 2016 when Clem Burke came along to a Bootleg Blondie gig and actually got up and played drums on stage with the band! He said afterwards that watching and playing with Bootleg Blondie was very emotional. Well Bootleg Blondie were very touched by Clem’s presence!!! In May 2017 Bootleg Blondie had the unbelievable honour of being mentioned on Blondie’s 11th studio album ‘Pollinator’. Debbie Harris, lead vocalist of Bootleg Blondie, has the looks, the voice and the attitude of the original Blondie bombshell. Like her heroine she is typically outrageous on stage. She has been known to wear dustbin liners, thigh length boots and t-shirts with more holes than t-shirt! Venue: Middleton Arena Doors Open: 7.30pm Show Starts: 8pm Tickets: £15 Follow the BOOK ONLINE link or ring the Box Office on 0300 303 8633 to book.
