5 QUICK TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL PARTY 1.Make a Budget
You need to make sure that you are staying within your budget. The budget may be based on past holiday parties. Be sure to adjust for inflation.
2.Select a Date 75% of holiday parties are booked during the first two weekends in December. If you're planning a bit last minute or on a budget, consider having your holiday during the week, in November or early January.
3.Select a Venue Think outside your office space! Also try to find a location that is central and no more then a 30 minute drive from the office. Last picking a venue that comes decorated will help with your budget.
4.Find your entertainment
PRIZES
The holidays are a time of giving. so why not give your employees a chance to win great prizes? If you're on a strict budget, set up a raffle your employees can enter. The prizes should be enticing!.
Parties aren't fun just because they're parties. They're fun because of what takes place and the people involved. You want to provide your guests with entertainement that keep them engaged.
5.Promote your party
To ensure your party is a success it needs to be on everyone's radar. Send regular email updates and notices via social media. Post flyers in the break room and various other corridors of your office.
SAFETY FiRst If you are hosting or having a bar, make sure to promote designated drivers and/or car services. Reward designated drivers by small gift cards or extra raffle ticket. Place Lyft or Uber cards on each table or on the bar itself.
