CUYANA CONCEPT
Cuyana is a women’s clothing store all about simplifying the wardrobe with a “less is more” concept. Each piece is de-signed with comfort, style, quality, and multi-use in mind. Our design concept for this store is to create a sense of minimalism by using a neutral color palette of blush, camel, and cream. To highlight the products, we will use contrasting textures like painted brick, a variety of stones, and raw woods. This allows each piece to stand out along side visual displays of Cuyana’s “Essential Women” who embody respect and empowerment for all women. These selections convey Cuyana’s design purpose, their products, and their customers, all working together to create an emotive experience which will result in a potential purchase that the customer can feel good about.

GET TO KNOW ME Thank you for taking the time to look through my portfolio! I hope you enjoyed it! Flip one more page to see my resume! I am currently a junior at Iowa State University. I plan to graduate in the Spring of 2019 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. My ideal career would be to work in residential or commercial design at a large firm where I can gain experience, meet new people, inspire others, and push myself beyond what I think I am capable of. Interior design is more than a job, it is the creation of a sensory experience. It is form and function. Design is complex, but if done right looks effortless. I am a true believer that if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life.
