Beauchamp College is situated in Oadby, to the south east of Leicester and offers a fantastic range of facilities for community use. Facilities users can enjoy complimentary car parking and excellent bus links from Leicester city centre direct to the college gates.

YOUR ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS

With both indoor and outdoor facilities, which have benefited from extensive investment over the years, Beauchamp College has a range of spaces for learning, sports and special events.

FACILITIES TO HIRE

OUTDOOR ALL-WEATHER PITCHES

New in 2020, the Oadby 3G all-weather pitch and surrounding sports area is home to a range of grass football pitches, MUGA tennis and netball courts.

The full size, floodlit 3rd Generation Football Turf Pitch meets the FIFA specification and can be hired on a regular basis or for one-off bookings, with pitches able to be booked as a quarter, half or full-size hire. It is suitable for FA approved games, club use, coaching, parties and pay-and-play sessions.

Tennis and netball courts are floodlit, making them ideal for use all year round. Courts can be booked as part of a membership with the Sir Jonathan North Knighton Tennis Centre (see page 18), or as an independent booking.

NB.Capacities shown are given as a guide. Our flexible layouts and adjoining rooms will allow for greater capacities, or could be reduced in certain seating styles. Please ask our team for more information.

All Weather Pitch

SPORTS HALL

The large sports hall is a popular location due to its ability to host many sporting activities, including 5-a-side football, Futsal, basketball, badminton, martial arts and gymnastics. Adjacent to the sports hall are changing and shower facilities which are available as part of the hire.

MAIN HALL

The large main hall is the perfect venue for your wedding reception, performance, conference, awards evening or function. It boasts an elevated, fixed stage large enough for most theatre or dance productions. Up to 300 people can be seated, with options including theatre style or cabaret style around tables. An adjacent foyer and dining area can be booked in conjunction with the main hall, as well as catering or hire of the kitchens for outside catering.

DANCE STUDIOS

Beauchamp College offers two fabulous equipped dance studios, the larger of which boasts a mirrored wall, digital projector, air conditioning, ballet bars & dimmable lighting. The smaller dance studio has floor to ceiling mirrors and air conditioning. Both studios are suitable for dance classes and rehearsals, yoga, pilates, martial arts, gymnastics, aerobics and fitness classes.

FITNESS SUITE

New for 2021, the well-equipped fitness suite is welcoming new members to enjoy unlimited use for an affordable monthly fee, between 5:00pm and 9:30pm Monday to Friday and 08:30am to 4:30pm at the weekend. The gym offers a wide range of equipment, such as treadmills, rowing machines and strengthening equipment, as well as a free weights area. Enquire with our Enterprise Team for membership details.

Team training sessions on the 3G pitches can combine their booking with a session in the fitness suite and all fitness suite users have use of showers and changing facilities.

MEETING AND TRAINING ROOMS

With a wide range of rooms, Beauchamp College is suitable for small meetings and training sessions through to conferences for up to 300 people. Catering can be added to your room booking on request, or room only hire is also possible.

Classrooms can comfortably accommodate 30 people and are all equipped with a projector and whiteboard for presentations and training.
