How to use Hope? • Hope can be used to specify a desired outcome which we think it’s possible. • I hope you can come to the party on Saturday.
To simply express that you want something to happen in the future (not impatience or annoyance) we use 'hope', not 'wish’. –I hope the plane doesn't crash tomorrow. .
