Proper Usage of Your Evolution Tables Evolution Tables represent the future of the hospitality industry. They are multi-purpose, multi-functional and will become the workhorse of your banquet operations. The statements below offer proper practices to follow when using your tables. • Never use your tabletops as a cutting board. When using knives and other cutlery, always use an actual cutting board. • Never place hot food items directly on the tabletop. Evolution tabletop surfaces can withstand temperatures up to 140 degrees, thus hot pans, canned fuel, and other sensitive items must be placed on hot plates or trivets otherwise the tops will get damaged. • Never drag your tabletops along the floor, carpet, or any other surface. Never stack bases or tabletops on the floor or against the wall. Storage Carts are available for purchase and can be rolled out to an event site during set-up and break-down. Evolution tabletops feature a connector clip that allows you to reposition the bases for different configurations without the use of any tools. • When storing your tabletop in the storage carts, ALWAYS lean the first tabletop, SUBTOP first along the metal frame. From there on, it is important to place TABLETOP to TABLETOP and SUBTOP to SUBTOP during storage. This will minimize potential damage during transit. Once you have stored all tabletops on the cart, use the provided bungees to secure the tops on the cart. • Never reposition a fully assembled table until all Connector Clips are locked in place. • When setting up your bases in the “U” Configuration, make certain the piano hinge on the sub-top is on the open side of the bases. • Do not drag food service items such as Chafing Dishes and other equipment across your tabletop. Always pick up these items and place them on the tabletop. • Always consult the Care and Maintenance documents for cleaning instructions on your specific surface option type. Please use the proper cleaning supplies as use of the wrong materials can cause damage.
