RESISTANCE TESTS LIPPI carries out and openly gives results for the resistance tests for its welded panels, posts and sports equipments. The engineering office can therefore simulate the installation of the products taking into account all the parameters (fence height, resistance of the various parts, snow and wind area...) and recommend a resistant and durable solution to the client.

LONG LIFE TECHNOLOGY This is a state-of-the-art coating technology used for all our Aquilon® PREMIUM welded panels, whatever the colour. A first coat is applied onto the galvanised panels for its anti-corrosive properties, then a second finishing coat with a good resistance to sun damage (UVA and UVB). This improves the resistance to corrosion and guarantees the product's aesthetics. Double plastic coating offers physicochemical features which cannot be obtained with only one coat.

PANEL FENCES The Aquilon® MEDIUM & PREMIUM range

DESCRIPTION

ASSETS

The Aquilon® range is an innovative and patented rigid fence concept made up of welded panels, posts and fixing clips. This system allows perfect adaptation (to the millimetre) to the land without any unsightly stair effect. It is based on the system of tying the panel to the post by inserting clips in the post’s grooves. With its quality materials, guaranteed finish, adapted security levels and successful installation concept among professionals, this range will perfectly suit any of your projects. More than 30 panel/post combinations are possible, with numerous options available, fixing, security and installation accessories detailed in the following pages.

• RÉSISTANCE The clips allow the panel to be fixed to the post while providing rigidity to the panels and high resistance to the fence. To strengthen it, we recommend installing clip blockers.The Aquilon® posts all have "closed" profiles that are more resistant to distortion or pulling of the panel.

APPLICATION The Aquilon® range is recommended for numerous applications: from houses in rural areas to high security sites exposed to corrosion, an adapted Aquilon®panel/post solution exists.The Aquilon® MEDIUM range meets price requirements; the PREMIUM range is recommended for sites where quality, resistance and differentiation are most important.The PREMIUM range also meets particular site requirements: location near the sea, industrial areas, fence customized according to the site colours etc.

• PERFECT ADAPTATION TO THE GROUND The fence follows the land unevenness. The post groove acts as a slide which enables the installer to adjust the panel height to the millimetre, thus suppressing the unsightly "stair" effect obtained with slotted posts. The professionals can thus "adjust" the fence according to the post height, the land curves… The implementation is harmonious and the site aesthetics are preserved. • 10-YEAR WARRANTY The Aquilon® Premium panels benefit from the Long Life Technology: a unique plastic coating technology, applied to a galvanised panel according to the NF EN 10244-2 standard; this coating allows us to offer a 10-year warranty per installation, for a durable investment. • TIME-SAVING FOR INSTALLATION The Aquilon® system answers to the main problems of the fitters (timesaving and easy installation) : The Aquilon® panels are to be fixed into the posts by a system of clips, which doesn’t require any accessory during installation. The time-saving observed during the erection is of 20% compared to an installation with posts with notch. So it is possible to install an average of 100 linear meters per day. • A UNIQUE AND COMPLETE SYSTEM More than 4 millions of panels have been sold since the first generation of Aquilon®. It’s the only fencing system which benefit of a patent since 1989 and which develops constantly in terms of technology and aesthetic. The system of installation of the fixing clips is unique for the whole range. This concept can be adapted to all the association of Aquilon® panel/post. So in case of repairing or changing of the fence, these changes are simple and quick. Many set-ups are possible to customize the fence: security mesh, cranked top, stringer, security clips, security nut, and privacy/wind-breaker wooden boards to be installed on the panels.

Aquilon® Medium range Light, handy and easy to install panels that are suitable for residential use, in rural or urban areas. APPLICATION The characteristics of the Medium panels mean they are particularly suited to private individuals: they are light and handy and are supplied in lengths of 2m to facilitate transport and handling. With standard thickness plastic coating, these panels are an economical alternative to Premium panels.

DESCRIPTION Ecocity, Zéphyr III and Eurus are green, plastic coated, galvanised steel welded panels. The fence is installed on flat or uneven land, on an existing low wall or paving, by sealing into the ground or onto a plate. They are available in lengths of 2m or 2m50 with meshes of 100 or 200 x 55mm, in 4 or 5mm Ø wire. They should be installed with the Aquilon® posts and the fixing clips or with the Aquigraf® posts and Fixograf®. They are packed in pallets of 60 panels. APPLICATION The Aquilon® Atlantis® 21 Premium panel is mainly used in residential areas, to enclose a property, delimit an area of several houses or buildings; it is also used to enclose administrative sites (commercial offices, rural office sites). A good value-for-money solution.

DESCRIPTION Atlantis® 21 Premium is a 2.50m long welded panel made of plastic coated galvanised steel wire Ø 5mm, with high protection provided by the Long Life Technology process (see page 7). The fence can be installed on flat or uneven land, on an existing low wall or paving, by sealing it to the ground or a plate. The panel deflection is of 62mm for a load of 100kg on the panel centre. 2 to 3 folds (according to the height) strengthen the panel rigidity. Packaging: 50 panels/pallet. Mesh 200x55mm, Wire Ø 5mm.

APPLICATION The attractive Aquilon ® Luxury panel naturally lends itself to properties and residences where it will integrate perfectly as a decorative element. It can also be used for local communities and architectural sites (museums, exhibitions, floral or landscaped parks...) where it will naturally blend in.

DESCRIPTION The Aquilon® Luxury panel has a decorative frieze which distinguishes it from the rest of the range. Two diamond-shaped friezes are welded on both sides of the panel upper fold, before it is coated with plastic. Its length is 2.50m and the steel wires are galvanised and coated with plastic Ø 5mm with high protection provided by the Long Life Technology process (see page 7). The fence can be installed on level or uneven land, on an existing low wall or paving, by sealing it to the ground or to a plate. APPLICATION The Aquilon® Siroc panel is recommended to secure the sensitive areas: factories, train-stations, airports, military sites, but also to protect sport facilities or parks.

DESCRIPTION The low and top folds of the Aquilon® Siroc panel facilitate its handling and its installation, and increase the flatness of this panel with welded double wires. It is composed of vertical wires of Ø 6mm and horizontal wires of Ø 8mm, and has 2 folds: at the top and at the bottom of the panel. Its length is 2m50. It is made of steel wires, galvanized and plastic-coated with the Long Life Technology process (cf page 7) which ensures high protection. The fence can be installed on a flat or uneven ground and on a low wall, sealed into the ground or on a plate. The bent of the panel is 37mm for a load of 100kg at the center of the panel. AQUILON® ACCESSORIES AND OPTIONS Accessories DESCRIPTION STANDARD STAINLESS STEEL TONGUE CLIPS for Ø 5 to 8 mm wire panels and Aquilon® posts. These universal and discrete clips are adapted to all Aquilon® welded panels and posts. 4 to 18 clips are necessary for a post, depending on height, which means one clip for every 40cm. Note: In order to improve resistance, it is recommended to add a clip blocker with its self-breaking screw every two clips. - For a solid fixture, the accessories must be fitted under a fold or a horizontal wire.

STAINLESS STEEL SECURITY CLIPS for horizontal mesh security panels and Standard or Security steel posts, or Security Aluminium posts. These clips are to be used with Security panels only: the clip shape is adapted to the close-mesh panel. 8 to 14 clips are required for a panel.

SECURE CLIP BLOCKER: This item supports the clip to hold it in place and secure the installation. The panel resistance is multiplied by 3 thanks to the blocker. KITS FOR CONNECTION TO GROUND (EARTH): they are made for the fences installed below high voltage overhead cables to protect the persons present near the perimeter. Many kits are proposed to equip the different parts of the fence: equipotential part kit for post/panel, for panel/ground, for corner posts, for panels/cranked top and for the end of the line. The objective is to guarantee the electrical conductivity between the different elements between them and with the ground, whatever the age of the fence, the characteristics of the materials and/or the coating. PANEL FENCES DESCRIPTION GROOVE: the groove allows the realisation of 90° angles and also allows starts from existing walls or gate posts. It is available in Aluminium, clip able for aluminium posts, or in steel for steel posts, directly welded to the post or to be riveted. It is either sold by linear metre, according to the fence above-ground dimensions, or by unit, already fitted to the post, by specially ordering an Angle post.

PLATE: the plate allows the fence to be installed on paving, a low wall or any other existing rigid support. 3 types of plates are available: - the plate welded to the post (square of 12x12cm) - the mobile aluminium plate made of 2 parts (for Atlantis steel post only, and panel H<1.50m), which necessitates drilling the post and fixing it with 3 supplied screws. It can be stored without the posts. - The belt plate, which allows the post (Atlantis or Standard steel) to be installed against the wall. 2 plates and 4 belts per post.

RUB RAIL: Protection for Atlantis® 21 and Standard panels: this plastic coated, galvanised steel rub rail of 2.50m length is particularly recommended for schools and areas for young children. It is made of folded profiles and is to be fitted onto the upper spikes of the panel. It is then blocked in the post groove. It helps to protect against injuries and gives an aesthetic final touch to the fence. Reinforcement for Double wire panels: the reinforcement rub rail for 5&6 or 6&8mm double wire panels is made of galvanised steel and is plastic coated. It is recommended to improve the flatness of the panels, which are more flexible for not having folds; by providing more tension to the upper part, the rub rail facilitates the installation of the panels and their alignment.

OPTIONS Aquilon® range DELIMIT CRANKED TOP: The cranked top is an additional protective PROTECT device which is fitted as an extension of the Aquilon® posts. It is DISCOURAGE mainly used in at-risk sites, such as airports, harbours, stations, SECURE industrial, military, storage sites etc to prevent trespassing. It is installed at the top of the fence post to form an interior, exterior or Y angle superior or equal to 45° and is 50cm long. Between two cranked tops, panels for cranked tops or barbed wire lines can be filled with networks of Concertina razor blades to make the fence even more discouraging. 3 types of mobile cranked tops are available: in Aquilon® Atlantis or Standard post; in Aquilon® Security post; in 50 corner iron for steel Security post (welded cranked tops upon quotation). An inter cranked top allows 90° angles to ensure continuity. AQUIWOOD KIT: Aquiwood is a privacy/wind-breaker fence concept to be used with the Atlantis® or Standard panels, and the Atlantis® or Standard steel posts to embed. DESCRIPTION The razor blade is a 4,5mm stainless steel strip cut out as a selvage in a blade shape and set onto a 1,6mm high resistance steel wire (1400 Newton/mm²); this wire is resistant to cutting with ordinary tools. These strips are set as a network: the turns are stapled together with a high resistance steel staple.The rich galvanized or stainless steel 304 networks have an extended length of 10 to 15 m depending on the diameter (from 450 to 980 mm) The razor blade is also available in tape (wire with razor blades), and is to be installed as a barbed wire.

APPLICATION A railed panel for industrial sites, port infrastructures, local communities and collective housing where resistance and aesthetics are key criteria.

DESCRIPTION The Tivano® railing is a first class traditional fence solution which offers maximum resistance and security. Its unique spring assembly concept includes: - Aquilon® post to be sealed or on plate (Atlantis post if height of the panel < 1m50; Standard or Security post for higher panels), - Railed panels 2m50 long with high and low 40x40mm stringers, filled with rectangular, square or round bars with 110mm gap (133mm optional for Tivano® round), and fitted with a patented fastening system. The assembly is easy with only one "click": the butt part inside the stringer receives the part fixed into the post, by a simple clamping. USE The railing type II enables to protect many sites: collectivities, industry, ports, and many other premises where the resistance of the fence is essential.

DESCRIPTION The railed panels of 2m50 are composed of crossing bars, a stringer on the upper and lower part, they are delivered with a post to be sealed into the ground, and are to be installed by fitting (see scheme). The 90° angle require only one post: the stringers are fitted into the post in right angle. The Ø 25mm bars are crossing for defensive aspect, the upper and lower stringer are square shape of 50x50mm, and the posts 80x80mm. After surface treatment, the elements are plastic-coated in green or white in standard, or with other colours on demand. The railing is available in hot dip galvanized or plastic-coated on galvanized.

DESCRIPTION LIPPI has designed the range of Practis sliding and cantilever gates with the aim to generalize the automatism and keeping the advantages of a professional product. In case of gate with posts to be screwed, it is recommended to fix the plates on inserts (1) to increase the resistance of the gate. ®

Sensitis® = Automated opening: The gate is unlocked and opened automatically; a quick action of the user starts the opening or closing of the gate (thanks to a badge, a control, an induction loop…). The gate is delivered with posts on plates, fixed onto inserts(1). This mode of opening doesn’t require any rail and the structural engineering is reduced: the concrete base is necessary only for the fixing of the frame, the end stop and the reception post. CONTROL OF THE ACCESS NEW USE The rising bollards enable to control the access for the banks, the offices and supervised parking, and enable to limit the access to pedestrian areas and to limited traffic. The rising bollards are recommended for the parking and the access where the traffic is important, in industrial or collectives areas.

DESCRIPTION Rising bollard: it is equipped with an electomechanical engine which offers excellent performances with a simple mecanism, easy to install and to maintain in a perfect condition. A batterry, delivered as an extra, enables the bollard to stay open even in case of brownout, maintaining the security of the site. Without battery, with a small pressure, the bollard comes back into the ground holding up the traffic. The movement of opening and closing lasts 6 seconds and has a slowdown which ensures a good life span to all the organs. When it is closed, the bollard go back exactly to the level of the ground. RESIDENTIAL CHAIN LINK

APPLICATION The Residential Chain Link is recommended for fencing a private property, a lot, a private park or garden. Several security levels are possible according to the place and desired security level. Several coating qualities are available. Unless otherwise stated, the Chain link has links of 50mm and is delivered in compacted rolls of 25 linear metres.

DESCRIPTION The chain link is a traditional fence, made of woven wires which form diamond-shaped meshes of variable dimensions. It is available in different qualities, diameter of wire and heights, and is proposed with knuckled edges or with defensive barbed edges at the top, bottom (or both) of the fence. It is delivered in compacted rolls, more easy to handle and to transport, or non-compacted on demand. The flexible meshes of the chain link make it a product particularly adapted to curves and uneven grounds. It is repairable and it is not sensitive to the shocks.

ADVANTAGES - The chain link fences have a galvanized coating in accordance with the standards in force. The plastic coated fences are coated with PVC sheath by an extrusion process. It sticks perfectly to the support wire and offers an excellent resistance to the shocks and crushing; this process guarantees a 10-year protection against corrosion in standard conditions. (Guarantee on building site, please ask us). - The chain link is re-meshable, which facilitate joints between two rolls: this joint is invisible for more aestheticism. Note: - For areas close to the sea or subject to atmospheric corrosion (industrial environment, cities etc), it is recommended to use the Aluminium-zinc Flexigal, which offers a higher resistance to corrosion than galvanised wire or the Flexalu(1) - Diameter of plastic coated wires: galvanised wire inside Ø / outside Ø after plastic coating, in mm: 1.5/2.4 – 1.65/2.7 Flexalu: chain link fence made of Duralinox (aluminium alloy), guaranteed for life if used with aluminium posts. APPLICATION The Professional Chain link is suited to exposed sites: in industrial areas for factories, warehouses, commercial premises, or for sensitive sites requiring an efficient protection: military sites, airports, prisons, etc... APPLICATION The Residential Welded Fences give a decorative aspect to private properties, parks or gardens and encloses schools for young children, nurseries or leisure sites.

DESCRIPTION The welded fence is made of welded horizontal or vertical wires. The mesh is first galvanised, then plastic coated. This kind of fence features a “crimp” on all horizontal wires in the middle of each mesh, to enhance the global tension on the structure. It also helps water outflow instead of slugging at the wire crossings, improving meanwhile resistance to corrosion. The welded fence comes into 25m or rolls 50m and must be installed on flat or light sloping grounds.

Note: To reinforce its resistance, the Muraille® Border can be installed on tubes, with flats and couplers. Packaging: Rolls of 25m, per linear metre, or panel installation upon order. The Citadine® and Muraille® Borders are installed in a traditional way with T posts and struts sealed in the ground or in a low wall, on straining wires, with the additional installation accessories (see page 40), or on Aquilon® posts. CITADINE ® (or Parisian) BORDER: The Citadine ® Border, DELIMIT PROTECT usually installed for decorative purposes, gives harmonious edges to DISCOURAGE a house or open space. Very rigid, it can also be used around SECURE schools, parks and playgrounds. The diamond-shaped 90x65mm links are made of corrugated wires Ø 3.0 to 3.9mm, and have arches at the top.

APPLICATION The Paturage® and Alpage stock fence is especially made for closing grazing fields for sheep, cows and goats. It is also used to prevent animals from crossing roads in forested areas.

DESCRIPTION The Paturage® is made up of knotted rectangular links. It is assembled by winding vertical wires around each horizontal wire. The interspaces between horizontal wires are decreasing from the top to the bottom: the links are high at the top and become progressively lower towards the bottom. The decreasing mesh allows animals of different sizes to be kept in the same enclosure: sheep, poultry, ponies, pigs, calves, cows, etc… The vertical and horizontal wires have a diameter of 1.9mm, and edge wires (top and bottom horizontal wire) a diameter of 2.4mm. - Pâturage: vertical and horizontal wires are Ø 1.9mm, and edge wires (upper and lower horizontal wires) Ø 2.4mm. APPLICATION Plain wire is ideal for penning up fragile animals like horses.

DESCRIPTION Plain wire is made of two twisted mild steel wires (heavy galvanisation) It is available in rolls of 200 metres, and with a diameter of 2.4 mm.

AGRICULTURAL FENCES

DESCRIPTION Barbed wire is made up of two supporting wires onto which defensive spikes are knotted: two versions are available: THE VENDÉENNE® or mild steel barbed wire: 2 or 4 spikes are knotted every 10cm on one of the supporting wires and held in place by the continuous twists of the two supporting wires (2.5 twists between 2 spikes). The Vendéenne® is the best solution for temporary pens as it can be rolled up when you want to move it. THE GUARDIAN® or hard steel barbed wire: the 4 spikes are knotted onto the two alternate twisting supporting wires. 3 wire qualities are available: standard or heavy galvanisation The Guardian® is used for permanent grazing fields, as it is hard to roll after usage.

APPLICATION The Trigone® mesh is used for pens and poultry cages: aviaries, barn yards, poultry houses… It is also very much in use as a decorative, coloured fence (see page 45)

DESCRIPTION The Trigone® hexagonal mesh fence is made of woven steel wires. The mesh is heavy galvanised after manufacture, or coated with green plastic after galvanisation. The fence is highly flexible and thus easy to use and adapt.

POSTS AND STRUTS

APPLICATION The Posts and Struts are used as a support for the metal mesh. The Struts reinforce the resistance of the start and angle stakes and also of high lengths.

DESCRIPTION There are 2 types of posts: the T Posts installed every 2.50m and the Corner posts (L shape) for angles and ends. Several coatings are available: heavy galvanisation, green plastic coating on raw posts, or green or white plastic coating on galvanised posts. INSTALLATION ACCESSORIES

APPLICATION Installation accessories are used in addition to posts and struts to fix and make taut the fence. Several accessories are available, with different qualities to adapt to the quality of the chosen fence and posts.

TENSION ROD: The tension rod is inserted vertically from the fence start to the end, through the first link, and tied to the stake with straining wire – can be used only with chain link. It is standard galvanised or plastic coated, and available from 0.80m to 4m height according to the quality.

STRAINER (or stiffener): strainers are used to tighten the straining wire: the wire is inserted into the strainer, then you turn using a key until the wires are tightened to the maximum. The strainer is installed at each wire start and end. 3 strainer sizes are available according to the diameter of the tension wire: - Ø 2.1 to Ø 2.9mm: strainer N°2 - Ø 3.0: strainer N°3 - Ø 3.7 and 3.8: strainer N°4 They are available hot galvanised, green or white plastic coated, or Aluminium.

WIRE FENCING ACCESSORIES

STAPLES: they are used to fix the fence to the straining wire with pliers. 2 staple sizes: 16 or 20mm NB: Professionals prefer staples for they are quickly fixed. However, tying wire remains available for those who want a traditional installation. It is available heavy galvanised, plastic coated or Aluminium, in bobbins with or without armour, Ø 0.9 or 1.3mm in lengths of 50m or 100m.

STRAINING OR TENSION WIRE: straining wire is available in rolls of 50 or 100 metres. It is installed horizontally along the whole fence, run through each post hole, then tautened using the strainer or stiffener. It is recommended to set a straining wire approx. every 50cm above ground level, the first one being installed 10cm above the fence top.

AQUIGRAF® ACCESSORIES APPLICATION

ASSOCIATED PRODUCTS

The Aquigraf® Post is used with all fences in rolls instead of traditional T posts and other accessories, or with the Aquilon® 4mm panels (Ecocity or Zephyr). Its specific design makes the installation easier and much quicker than the traditional installation with accessories. As it is versatile, it brings harmony to sites where both panels and fence in rolls are used.

- To fix the struts onto the posts, a fixture or collar is used; - to hold the fence against the post, stainless steel staples are required that fasten the horizontal wire to the post groove - A special Aquigraf pliers designed to fix the staples and other pliers to settle the tension by nipping the drops of the welded fences. The post can be surmounted by a cranked top: • Posts Ø 50mm: cranked top bended to the interior or welded to the exterior in hot dip galvanized, green or white, length 50cm, for post of H 1m95, 2m45 or 3m00. • Posts Ø 70mm: cranked top welded to the exterior or interior, hot dip galvanized, green or white, length 50cm, for posts H 2m00, 2m50 or 3m00. - The post and the fence can be installed on a low wall or rigid support using the welded plates on the Aquigraf® posts and struts. The fence can also be installed without concrete block, using the hot galvanised fixing bases: the Aquigraf® Ø 50mm post is placed on a base buried 57cm deep.

DESCRIPTION The Aquigraf® posts are folded profiles of galvanised steel or plastic coated on galvanised. The fence is flattened against the post grooves; then a staple is placed on a horizontal wire of the fence and fastened onto the groove. 3 post diameters are available (Ø 38, 50 or 70mm), to be used with struts (Ø 35 or 50mm). With the Aquigraf® posts, you can create all sorts of angles and embed them in the ground (50cm deep approx.). The posts are delivered with a PVC plug.

HANDRAIL APPLICATION Handrails provide separation between a field and a spectator area; they also give access to a stadium or a running track thanks to openings.

DESCRIPTION A handrail is made of stringers and stringer fittings.The handrail is available with or without a meshed bottom. Its above-ground height is 1.10m (40cm post embedding). For a mesh infill, two Aquilon® panels are available: the Reinforced Standard Aquilon® panel (special handrail panel: wire 5&6mm with two horizontal folds – length 2.50m - height 0.98m) or the Aquilon® Heavy panel (wire Ø 8mm – length 2.50m – height 0.98m) which is recommended in exposed areas (behind goals…). The Aquilon® panels are fixed vertically into the post grooves, and horizontally under the profiled stringer with tying clips.This allows a reduction

in panel vibrations after ball impacts. For a better resistance, it is recommended to add pop rivets on the clips or bolts with security nuts. Handrail stringers are jointed with fittings. A PVC cover that cannot be disassembled is clipped to the profiled stringer; it hides all power cables (e.g. for lighting) and gives a modern and homogeneous aspect to the product. This unique handrail emphasises local sports equipments, offering aesthetics, modularity and perfect integration. Assorted openings are available; with the 180° openings, you can easily drive lawn mowers and other maintenance machines onto the field.

CATCH BALL FENCE

APPLICATION The catch ball fence helps keep balls within the boundaries of a sports field or playground. It is generally used for outdoor football, rugby or basketball fields or on multi-sports fields.

DESCRIPTION The catch ball fence is a specific protective assembly including: Aquilon® posts to embed, a mesh or Aquilon® panels at the bottom, and netting at the top (or for the whole of the fence). Specific items are used to block, fix, tauten and strengthen the device. The tension system is composed of a U strainer and a caster. The space bar is composed of a 50x25mm tube of 2m50, 2 end plates and 2 half-rings. The catch ball fence has the assets of the Aquilon® range: a patented concept, robust posts, solid fixtures, and an aesthetic and modern design. A guying system has been designed to increase resistance when the straight line is higher than 50m. Post sections are designed according to the Snow and Wind rules of Zone 2, in nominal values and on standard sites (Upon request for zones 3, 4 and 5). The catch ball fence infill depends on the distance with the field and the practised sports: usually, the closer the field, the more shock absorbent the infill must be. DESCRIPTION The temporary fence is made up of three main elements: the panel, the pedestrian gate and the block. The panels are made up of 2 or 4 welded tubes; the wires are of high resistance hard steel, galvanised according to the NF EN 10244-2 standard. The pedestrian gate is fitted with a castor and a hinge for opening. The panels are assembled with hooks holding the fence and decreasing the assembly time. The posts are inserted in the 39kg concrete block (stability) or the 21kg plastic block (easy to handle) – One more block than the number of panels should be planned. Steel plates are also available to replace the concrete block (15 kg, small dimensions) To prevent intrusion in the protected perimeter, it is recommended to use the antivandalism collar with the anti-lift system. The strut is recommended when using the tarpaulin, which increases the wind factor, as it improves stability; it is fixed to the panel with an anti-vandalism collar and to the ground with the ground rod or the plate ballasted with a concrete block. Steel or plastic racks are also available to store the fences when not in use and to facilitate carriage (for 14 panels).

DELIVERY ON SITE To avoid more handling or renting a delivery unit, LIPPI proposes to deliver the products with a lorry equipped with a lift, and for delivery on site, you can reserve a lorry with a lift truck.

Alloy made of 95% zinc and 5% aluminium according to AFNOR A 35-051. Coating life span four times longer than the Heavy class. Two qualities: Standard Aluminium zinc (Standard class zinc coat) or Heavy Aluminium zinc (Heavy zinc coat).

DEFLECTION: The panel resistance is measured by applying a 100kg load to the centre of the 1m panel; Deflection is the difference between the initial position and the after load position – the lower the deflection, the less deformable the panel, which is thus more resistant and easy to install.

NOMINAL DIAMETER: indicative wire diameter to the nearest tolerances according to the professional practice (NF EN 10218-2). Note: all the diameters given in this catalogue are trade names.

FLUIDISATION: Steel wire that is coated with plastic by a fluidised bed process is a Standard class galvanised steel wire, heated at 235 °C and passed through a fluidised PVC bath. The obtained coating has a thickness of 0.25 mm minimum.

DURALINOX: Aluminium alloy family with manganese, magnesium or magnesium-silicon, characterised by an excellent resistance to corrosion.

EXTRUSION:

Wire that is plastic coated by extrusion is a Standard class galvanised wire coated with a half-hard polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sheath, with a minimum thickness of 0.50 mm. Performance: – Perfect adaptation of the PVC sheath to the support wire. – Excellent resistance to shocks and crushing. – Excellent resistance to atmospheric corrosion (10 year warranty in normal use).

GROOVE: this is the Aquilon

post groove where the panel is inserted. LIPPI also uses the term "groove" for a steel or aluminium bar that creates a 90° fence angle when applied to the back of an Aquilon® post.

GALVANISATION:

Galvanisation protects against corrosion; steel wires are coated with zinc during a continuous passage in a melted zinc bath. The NF EN 10244-2 standard sets the minimum zinc loads per g/m² according to the wire diameters. Protection through galvanisation is proportional to zinc thickness: the higher the zinc load, the longer the life of the galvanised product. – Standard class or C class: semi-thick galvanisation wire, commonly used (load of 20 to 110g/m² according to the wire diameters). – Heavy class or A class: thick galvanisation wire (load of 30 to 300g/m² according to the wire diameters).
