The College of Business requires students to complete an internship to gain experience and apply their classroom knowledge with Nashville partners including large companies (such as HCA, Philips, Schneider Electric and Tractor Supply Company), small businesses and nonprofit organizations.

During our annual QuestWeek Service Day, incoming students are immersed in our tradition of service with an afternoon devoted to serving the Nashville community with local organizations like Safe Haven, Youth Engagement Services, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Carestone Assisted Living, Madison Church of Christ Christian Care Center and more.

Lipscomb’s J.S. Ward Society sponsors the prestigious Ward Summer Research Fellowship, which pairs a student studying the natural sciences with a faculty member for an unforgettable one-on-one research experience.

Through a partnership with the Debra K. Johnson Rehabilitation Center, the LIFE program provides a unique learning opportunity to study alongside students pursuing a Lipscomb degree in prison that develops self-confidence, character, knowledge and compassion.
