Another terrific vintage from this iconic Margaret River winery must make this wine one of the best examples of Semillon Sauvignon Blanc’s coming out of Western Australia. Intensely flavoured with a lively palate that is long and flavoursome, this wine is filled with herbal notes and tropical fruit. It is absolutely delicious to enjoy right now. Try it with a plate of salt and pepper squid.

Kopparberg Cider Varieties 500ml Bottles

Its light straw colour and malty palate are balanced with spicy hop aromas for a refreshing clean finish.

BREWED ON THE EDGE OF THE EARTH Tasmanians are responsible for some of the world’s finest produce. There’s the cheese, the honey, the beef, not to mention the salmon. Then of course, there’s the beer. That’s where Cascade comes in. Established in 1824, the Cascade Brewery remains intact, clinging to Mt Wellington and defiantly crafting Hobart’s finest export. It’s Australia’s oldest brewery, and for almost 200-ish years, their brewers have consistently produced ‘genuine beer that cannot be excelled’ – which is exactly what their founder Peter Degraves set out to achieve.

That’s a long time to be brewing beer. But Cascade’s history isn’t as smooth as its produce. There have been floods. The Great Depression. And of course, the catastrophic fire of ’67. This particular disaster burnt the brewery to the ground, leaving only the façade, a single tank of pale ale, and the brewers themselves – who, against all odds, rebuilt their workplace in as little as three months and one day. Harsh as Hobart can be, it happens to provide the perfect conditions for brewing. The hops are grown down the road from the brewery in the Derwent Valley. There’s also the fresh malt,

yeast and water conveniently sourced from their own backyard. The Cascade brewers, who have generations of experience in their blood, combine all of these ingredients to produce beer that Tasmanians can add to their list of unparalleled exports. While the building may be lucky to be standing, it’s no fluke that the beer still flows from the Cascade Brewery. With their latest additions to the range and fresh, heritage-inspired packaging, the brewery on the edge of the earth is still crafting ‘genuine beer that cannot be excelled.’

Hopped with Pride of Ringwood hops, it has a fragrant hoppy nose with a fine malt note in the midpalate and a firm hop bitter finish. It uses our unique Cascade yeast.

The roasted barley provides deep chocolate notes which are balanced with subtle sweet toffee and nutty roasted tones. Cascade Stout has a smooth and creamy body with a slightly bitter lingering finish.

Its golden hue is a result of the crystal malt added to the mash. Cascade Bright Ale is easy drinking, crisp and refreshing with a subtle balance of fruit and floral aromas which come from the hops.

Its light straw colour is complemented by slight cloudiness of this wheat beer. The Cascade hops give a resinous and citrus aroma balanced by a smooth delicate bitterness.
