The installation of the Masonic lodge officers for the 2020 year will be held at 120 Pike Street in Pikeville, KY on Friday, Dec. 27, at 7 p.m. with dinner at 6p.m., and a special invitation is extended to the public as well as all Masons residing or visiting Pikeville.

Masons are men who profess a faith in God, and they use the tools of moral and ethical truths to serve mankind. Freemasonry is not a religion, rather it is a wonderful moral system that’s veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols. Freemasonry is a human institution and is set up to inspire and assist its members to live the life of a gentleman. It is a brotherhood that transcends all religious, ethnic, social, cultural and educational differences. Each Mason recognizes his responsibility for justice, truth, charity, enlightenment, freedom, liberty, honesty, civility, tolerance, patience and integrity in all aspects of human endeavor.

MASTER BARRY STEPHEN ESTEP

I would like to thank the Supreme Architect of the universe for bringing us here today and to thank the ones that have enabled me to be here this evening. At the very top of my thank you list would be my wife Lisa followed by my family, my lodge brothers, and my friends. They have all been my source of support and inspiration in this journey.

2020 THOMAS C. CECIL LODGE #375 MASTER BARRY STEPHEN ESTEP

My goals for our lodge are to strengthen the core of the lodge’s officers past and present. Our officers have developed a bond that I have had the pleasure of watching grow over the last several years.

I am humbled to stand before you tonight and to have the honor and privilege to serve as master of our lodge for the year 2020. Over the last several weeks, I sometimes wondered what brought me to this point in my life and after much thought and introspect I realized that I was following my own moral compass of my inner thoughts, achievements and goals.

My accomplishments in life have all been molded partially by a mixture of people who have touched my life. Many are sitting in this room. Today I am the best man that I can be, and I strive to give back to those who have inspired me and as well as to pay forward to the next generations.

These men all want to see the lodge continue to place itself in the community and to build upon what our predecessors have laid out for us.

Ladies and Gentlemen, thank you for coming here today to our lodge installation,
