The U.S. Post Office and Courthouse was designed by architect James A. Wetmore and completed in 1933. The facility functioned as Youngstown’s main post office until a new complex was built on downtown’s East side during urban renewal in the 1960’s. The building is currently being refurbished and is in use as a city hall annex.
