Back to nature It takes a long time to practice and explore the idea of expressing a design idea completely. Basically, my architectural form and space come from a basic concept. These concepts often from nature. They can be mountains, water or land. Because architecture is serving for people, and people should be integrated into the building. This relationship is just like the relationship between human and nature, which is complementary to each other and harmonious. Therefore, through the design of the form, the design of space or the meaning of the existence of the building, the concept of nature will be used. In the design of boiler room, I used bubble concept, space re organization through the bubbles; in the museum design, I used the concept of mountain, formed an underground exhibition space; in high-rise design, I used the concept of water flowing through the waterfall, dialogue in the whole city. This portfolio will show you my integration and exploration of the concept between architecture and nature during these 6 years.

The Bubbles Individual works (2016) Reconstruction design of the old boiler room in China University of Mining and Technology This project is the regeneration of the old CUMT boiler room building, the new building will become the College Students' innovation and Entrepreneurship Center after the transformation , while retaining its original structure and building materials, by redesigning the layout of the internal space of the boiler room, more in line with the theme of entrepreneurship and Innovation Center of college students in the function and space experience. The source of inspiration for the first solution bubble, generating a set of clean old boiler room of the bubble, it can take people to the old industrial era of heating and burning coal pollution, and many innovative scientific research project of China University of Mining and Technology is to solve the ore material acquisition make the problem of environmental pollution caused by the process of bubble, the significance of the existence of space with the students working in the mission agree without prior without previous consultation. At the same time, these bubbles can also make the old things

The space of the report hall is hemispherical, with the center as the starting point, the one side of the building is a large staircase audience and the other side is Globoidal glass. The big steps surround the speech area, making the speaker keep close distance with every audience and have better interaction. At the same time, the wall with circular arc will have a better sense of encircling, which makes the speaker at the center of the reporting space.

The Transformation Individual works(2018) Architectural Design of the Art Exhibition center at Champagne, Illinois

The idea of the design scheme is to design a set of initial models, and then use these initial models as prototypes, combined with related concepts or ideas, to form a collage model, which is the basic image of the building, and finally design the final model by deepening the collage model. This design method is different from the general design idea. It is more of a design approach starting from the design, which is different from the concept of modernist rationalism. The initial design stage is not from the function of massing. Thinking is more inclined to the concept of expressionism, but there is no more material thinking. Since the main function of the design is for the art exhibition hall of the citizens of Champagne, Illinois, a lot of art about the birth of the artwork was considered in the design stage of the initial model, thinking about how a beautiful artwork was born in the artist's thoughts. of. So through these concepts in the design process of the initial model, a series of

22

initial models with a size of 6in × 6in × 12in are designed. The initial model's characteristics of different conceptual models are more intuitively seen through the production of the model. In the final stage of deepening the design and construction, we designed different functions at different heights, open public art exchange space, private enclosed display space, and free and changeable temporary exhibition halls were placed in In different volumes, there are also different spatial experiences. In the mid-stage of the project, a collage model consisting of the initial model is used as a prototype, and the final construction design is formed considering the actual construction conditions and the rationality of the building. The final building is like a volume that undergoes the same deformation process as the hourglass, constantly changing and rising. It tells the story of how people start to create on the ground and finally create a perfect piece of art.

23

Conversion concept Before the initial model design, first think about how a piece of art was born. First of all, it can be divided into two situations. One is to create a brand new thing from a piece of white paper, just like people directly create a mobile phone, without any experience for reference, completely recreated. The other method is different. It is a concept of conversion. This conversion can also be understood as an improvement. It means to transform on the basis of the original things, to replace and upgrade the relevant parts, and to create new things. What is different from the first way is that he will make a lot of references, and will find similar cases, just new things that are produced through the improvement of old things. These two concepts constitute the idea of designing the initial model, thus creating two different initial models.

26

Initial model The Initial model design is an attempt at another architectural design process that differs from traditional modernism in that it focuses on functional design. The design of the Initial model is based on a 6Ă—6Ă—12 cuboid prototype, designed a set of models, can be different concepts, or can be expressed in different forms of the same concept. After the design of a set of Initial models is completed, the final architectural design is prepared through the combination and development of the models.

The process of transforming the initial model into the design of deformation can become the main space and shape of the building, and the building is to put the characters into the model at a special scale, the generated concept is more from a point, so it can be developed into to explore the relationship between people and space, and to feel the a traffic space, and the integration of these space concepts produces relationship between space and function. Whether it is a solution with a the main form of the building. concept of transformation or a solution with a concept of creation, there is the possibility of becoming a building display space. The Mountains Individual works(2016) Design of Han-dynasty portrayal stone Museum

The design for the Han Dynasty stone Museum, is located in Jiangsu province Xuzhou city China Yunlong Lake, Xuzhou is also called "Pengcheng", Han Dynasty, West King Xiang Yu capital here, so many royal tombs of King buried here, the Han Dynasty stone is from the part of the tomb of many cultural relics, carved by in the rock record tomb owner's deeds. So I designed the museum as a "burial room" buried in the mountain. Above the ground is a mountain composed of many curved surfaces. After the design of form, it coincides with the rhythm and rhythm of Yunlong mountain behind the site, and is integrated into the surrounding area. The "tombs" exhibition hall is to return the original works of art buried in the underground, and the underground environment also plays a positive role in preserving portraits. This "Tomb" exhibition, through the evolution of the spatial form of Han as exhibition space, through continuous underground to visit, guide visitors gradually into the narrow ramp underground, give them a

40

cross back to the feelings of the past. Each hall of different shapes like Han Stone space, so that the entire exhibition space formed a huge stone in the ground, seem to be the portrait of workers carved, about the art history of the Han dynasty.

41

43

Analysis of the relationship between the tombs and the geographical location In the whole of Xuzhou, there are many huge scale royal tomb: North Han dynasty mountain Chu tomb, Chu Yuan Wang Liu's tomb, xiaoguishan Han dynasty tomb, Tuolan mountain Chu's tomb, East Mountain, South Mountain Chu dynasty tomb, Tu Shan Han dynasty tomb, Lali Mountain tomb and so on, It's all designed on the basis of geomantic omen, tomb usually between mountain and lake(or river), at the same time, this project site like this too, Yunlong mountain in the east and Yunlong Lake on the west, and Tu Shan Han dynasty tomb is here too, geomantic omen is very suitable for the construction of a 44

"Tomb" style stone museum.

Extraction of stone elements

A few blocks from the form of arc with landscape image of the Han ground, the other part of the "mountain uplift" open, as shown in Figure 3, Dynasty stone, part of the northeast side of the high office is the use of this picture tells people the extraction of the metal story from the mountain, silhouettes of relatively steep, rhythm changes are extracted from Figure extracted the open curve, and the entrance to the inside of the building. 1 the mountain shape, and the middle part of the building of the hall Finally, the three parts of the curve elements are interlaced together, because most of the space in the underground and above ground part is interlacing and changing. From high to low, from east to west, the relatively flat, so the choice of curve design changes in Figure 2 soft, from mountain buildings are linked to the lake water. Meanwhile, the roof of the back, from the high to the ground, change is neat, and building on the the interlaced roof can be used as a skylight to bring sunlight into the southwest side, as in the building entrance, so a part of the roof into the underground space and enrich the experience of visiting.

The Garden Individual works(2018) Architectural Design of Zhangzhuang Town Central Primary School, Xuzhou City, China Thić˜Ż s project is the central elementary school of Zhangzhuang Town, Xuzhou City. The overall design of the campus is divided into two parts, one is architectural design and the other is the movable design of the building skin. This architectural and planning section and the skin section form the final design. The first part is the design of the building complex. Here again, considering the design concept of the landscape, I hope to create a building that can connect the fields around the site. The surrounding buildings are relatively flat, so we should use the form of the building roof to create a The shape of the undulating building. In terms of planning, different age groups are assigned to different buildings, and a ribbon-like corridor is created to allow children to play on the ribbon and also serve as a communication space. In the design stage of the classroom, a staggered layout is designed. In the interlaced position between the classroom and the classroom, a space shared by the students can be formed. Here, the

54

children can enjoy different activities such as reading, chatting and playing. Their activities outside the classroom. The second part is the architectural design of the movable parameterized skin. Using the ladybug calculation mode in grasshopper, the sunshine of the building facade is calculated. The data of the building is analyzed by the sunshine data to create a skin that can be changed according to sunshine. Change the building skin of the facade. The main skin component is a blind that can slide up and down. The range of up and down movement is the data analyzed by sunshine, which makes the lighting inside the building very reasonable. The result of the final design is an educational system that can connect several villages around the site and save energy to make the students learn more comfortable.

Site Analysis The venue is located in Zhangzhuang Town, Pei County, Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province. The specific location is the southwest side of the People's Government of Zhangzhuang Town and the west side of Hanyun Square in Zhangzhuang Town. In terms of entrance, the main entrance should be placed on the south side of the site, which can facilitate traffic and avoid a large number of traffic flow on the north side. At the same time, the village on the south side is larger and the crowd is denser. The secondary entrance can be considered to be on the north side of the west, from the south to the north, and can be used as a logistics entrance and exit and employee entrance and exit on the west side of the site.

Parametric Dynamic Facade The purpose of parametric lighting windowing is to more scientifically open the windows of the building facade and enrich the changes of the building facade. In this scheme, the main design idea of parametric lighting design

the design of the single facade of the building. The first two plug-ins that are needed in Grasshopper are LadyBug and SkinDesigner. The former is a plug-in that imports climate data from the site into Grasshopper and calls Radiance for detailed sunshine

is to use Grasshopper for solar radiation analysis, to accurately analyze

analysis. The latter is a non-professional skin panel making tool. In

the thermal radiation of the window surface, to find the window size of

this design, the plug-in only plays a supporting role, for the data

different window areas, and to generate different sizes of inside. Opening correspondence of climate data analysis and window opening. the window creates a rich variation on a continuous surface to complete 73

The Cabins Individual works(2017) Design of collapsible air drop emergency relief device The design is a practice for future architectural possibilities, and I hope that there will be a mobile, unconstrained building in the future. So this time to start with the most practical use of the mobile building for disaster relief design to explore. In the southwest of Chinese, because of geographical reasons often earthquake, and the region is in the mountainous environment, once the earthquake, road collapse can make rescue equipment arrived, so we have dropped from the air cabin building idea, at the same time as the process of material goods, drop drop size and weight and so on are required, in order to design a multi-faceted, and cannot be used to simplify its function and reduce the affected population experience, from the folding of the space changes from multiple angles cycle design of building energy. After continuous research, this program set a number of mechanical elements, such as landing buffer system, evolved from the airbag to the army support structure system, to use the material delivery parachute from the evolution of the

74

hydraulic lifting platform evolved GPS positioning precision landing system and so on, multiple elements together to achieve the body building from the drop to landing to the deformation of the structure does not need artificial help, completely independent operation. At the same time, the layout and interior space are analyzed and arranged, which can provide a warm shelter for the victims. The comfort level can completely replace the existing relief tent.

Secondly, in order to facilitate folding, it did not add a square space similar to the next one. Instead, it adopted a slope roof structure that could be lapped directly on both sides. At the same time on both sides of the cabin has set a retractable plate, can provide a small open space, can be simple for people to have a rest. After this few improvements, the cabin has closed space, composed entirely of semi enclosed space and open space, enrich the function and user's experience.

The Waterfall Individual works(2017) Design of high-rise building complex on Xi'an Road The design of the high-rise building is a city complex, so in order to explore the relation between building and city level, carried out a detailed investigation of the project site, the site is an important area of Xuzhou CBD, there are three important commercial pedestrian street intersection here, although defined as a pedestrian street, but no pedestrian street with the noisy environment, a variety of old cars, stores, messy bicycles filled the streets, so I hope that through the introduction of a previous design way to guide this area, through the green vegetation, improve the environment so bad. The inspiration for the scheme comes from the waterfalls, the falls from the high, and the flow of water to the road around it. But in this plan, it is not the water, but the green vegetation trees. There are not many green public spaces in the original hundreds of meters walk street. At the most, there are several street trees. The greening rate is very low, and the environmental quality and experience are not ideal.

86

So through such a form of building, the surrounding also gradually began to start green, with the building as a starting point, a bit of diffusion. This is a new attempt and discussion, is a unique style of architecture really able to survive in the city? Or does it really affect a city? Although in the process of scheme design, function layout and building code thinking is much more, but also solve the frequent problems in many commercial buildings, but I think the significance of this scheme is the most I try to see an individual building from the perspective of the city, rather than focusing on the building itself.

87

Urban function analysis

Project site is located in Xuzhou three major commercial street intersection, at the same time there will be a commercial pedestrian street runs through the middle position, the surrounding functions: hospitals, hotels, shopping malls, office buildings, schools all have, but there was little park for a class of a better environment to relax space will appear this is also the rapid development in the city, so we need to think, can through the architectural design, making the surrounding neighborhood is green.
