Warranty

All FRÖVI products carry a five-year structural warranty. Any defects in materials specified by the customer e.g. fabrics, laminates and veneers which are not manufactured by ourselves will be subject to the original manufacturer’s warranty conditions. Any freight damage or damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse or neglect, and standard wear and tear, is not covered by this warranty. This applies to seating used in a normal eight hour working day.

FRÖVI delivery times

Our stockholding is second to none. At FRÖVI we hold vast quantities of core products ready for fast delivery. Please contact our sales department for current delivery lead times relating to a particular product.

Delivery charges

Order values over £1000 (England and Wales) will be delivered free of charge to FRÖVI distributors. Orders under £1000 will be subject to a delivery charge

Direct deliveries

As part of our continued focus on customer service to the trade, delivery of goods can be made on behalf of a FRÖVI distributor direct to site. A surcharge may be applicable in certain circumstances to end-user premises. Please contact our sales department for a quotation. The dispatch office must be notified at least 48 hours in advance of any delivery address changes.

Installation

The FRÖVI installation team is dedicated to the installation of all FRÖVI products within your building. Installation includes: 1) Unloading your delivery from the vehicle and taking it to the designated area within the building 2) Unwrapping your delivery and disposing of all packing materials. 3) Positioning your FRÖVI products according to your specific planned requirements, (if applicable). 4) Your peace of mind and total satisfaction. Please ask for your installation quotation.

All prices shown are retail in sterling (£) and are subject to VAT.

Payment terms

Non-account customers: pro-forma. Account customers: strictly 30 days net. Non-standard products: 50% deposit with order.

Acknowledgement of orders

All orders will be acknowledged. Please check details of products and delivery date acknowledged and contact customer service as soon as possible if there are any variances to your order.

FRÖVI samples

Samples will be invoiced on delivery and if returned within 30 days in good resalable condition a credit note will be raised. Any special requests for samples in a specific fabric other than existing stock will be regarded as an order and invoiced accordingly.

Flame retardancy

Foam: FRÖVI foams are combustion modified high resistant (CMHR) fire retardant in accordance with the Furniture and Furnishings Fire Safety Regulations. Fabric: See manufacturer’s specification for details. Please contact our sales department should you require a higher specification.

Care and maintenance

Regular maintenance is necessary to ensure long term durability for customer satisfaction. All products should be closely inspected each month and any loose screws or bolts should be tightened. If any item shows any signs of structural failure please remove from service immediately and contact your FRÖVI distributor. Chrome frames: Clean chrome with a good quality chrome cleaner to maintain a bright finish. Occasional chrome leakage can occur on products that have just been delivered and this can also be removed with cleaner. Epoxy powder-coated frames: Clean using a damp cloth with a mild solution of soap and water. Plastic feet: Inspect regularly and replace any worn plastic feet inserts. Wood seating and tables: FRÖVI cannot guarantee the exact matching of any wood items and any variation colour, texture and grain are not considered defects as this is a natural product. FRÖVI is unable to guarantee matching of colours between different batches, as wood finishes will age with time and exposure to sun light. Beech furniture is exclusively designed for indoor use and should not be exposed to increased humidity. Wood products can be cleaned with a water soluble solution to remove any build up of grease and grime (remove any excess water immediately). Wood products should not be subject to extreme temperatures, particularly, moisture and direct sun light. Fabric: Please refer to a specific manufacturing guideline on the cleaning of a particular fabric. Cleaning with the wrong solution could damage the fabric. Leather: Can be cleaned with a mild saddle soap. Table tops: Clean with a soft damp cloth and mild detergent solution. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

Environment

We care. FRÖVI furniture is environmentally friendly. FRÖVI chooses its timber from suppliers that support the PEFC & FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) which operates to improve forest management all over the world. The FSC certified companies guarantee that the wood contained in their products comes from forests managed correctly and responsibly, according to the stringent social and economic standards.

Furniture testing

All FRÖVI products are strength tested and many have passed internationally recognised EN Strength & Stability Tests such as CATAS. CATAS is an internationally recognised testing laboratory centre where quality, safety, strength and durability tests are carried out according to national standards (UNI, DIN, BS, NF, ASTM, ANSI, etc.), European standards (EN) and international standards (ISO).

FRÖVI all weather ALL WEATHER

Products marked with the All Weather symbol are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. These models are manufactured from special materials suited to normal exposure of the elements outdoors. Full submersion in water is not suitable.
