Families can bring their dogs along for the dog providing they are kept on a leash. Rocky Creek Dam On Leash Rocky Creek Dam is a great venue for picnic lunches and pleasant afternoon walk. Dogs are permitted in the recreation area provided they are on a leash. Riverside Park On & Off Leash Behind the Lismore Visitor Information Centre. Riverside Park houses an enclosed fenced area, on the southern side of Ballina Street Bridge, where dogs are able to roam free. For those who do not wish to use this area they can still walk their dog on a leash along the river.
