Tourist Drive 24 - This scenic 75km drive winds along the Richmond River from Woodburn to the historic riverside village of Coraki. From Coraki the drive follows the Wilson River to Lismore and through the small villages of Bexhill and Clunes before ending at Bangalow. Woodburn to Coraki - Driving Directions
Exit the Pacific Highway at Coraki-Woodburn Rd (approximately 500m south of the Woodburn Bridge). Follow road along the Richmond River for 17km until you reach (this will turn into Queen Elizabeth Drive) Coraki.
Lismore
Lismore is the heart of the Northern Rivers and offers visitors a wide range of experiences. Lismore is the dynamic and creative hub of the Northern Rivers, with a mix of quirky, cosmopolitan shops and an equally imaginative array of dinning alternatives and fabulous food. The historic city centre houses an array of fascinating boutiques, antique and curio shops, art and café emporiums and lots of alfresco cafés and eateries.
Coraki Situated at the junction of the Richmond and Wilson Rivers, Coraki lies to the west of the Pacific Highway and south of Lismore. The name Coraki means ‘meeting of waters’ in the local indigenous language. Coraki is centrally located to inland centres, national parks and beaches. Boating and water sports are popular in the village due to its riverside position. There is a 9 hole golf course that provides a challenge to players of all levels.
Coraki to Lismore - Driving Directions
Head north out of Coraki on Queen Elizabeth Dve. Turn right onto Coraki Gundurimba Rd and follow for 550 meters until it veers right and turns into Coraki Rd.
Follow Coraki Rd for 11km then turn right onto Wyrallah Ferry Rd.
Cross the bridge then turn left onto Wyrallah Rd and follow for 9.5km until you reach Lismore.

Lismore to Bexhill - Driving Directions
Depart Lismore Visitor Information Centre turning left along Molesworth St. Turn right at the 3rd roundabout (cnr Woodlark & Molesworth St) & left at the 2nd roundabout (cnr Dawson & Woodlark St) & follow the road until you reach Bexhill (10km drive from Lismore).
Turn left over the bridge opposite the Bexhill General Store & follow the signs to the Bexhill Open Air Cathedral.

The panoramic view from the Open Air Cathedral makes it a popular spot for outdoor weddings, a picnic or just a quiet place to ponder. Bexhill’s tiny church is renowned for its outstanding organ with recitals sometimes attracting organists from Sydney and Brisbane. The Bexhill General Store on the main street has some of the best home-made Indian Curries.
Bangalow is a town with a rich federation character and vibrant restaurant, café and antique trade. Bangalow has a great park, picnic area and historic society just off the main street. The markets held in Bangalow are one of the towns biggest regular events with hundreds of unique stall holders attending. The markets are held every 4th Sunday of the month at the Bangalow showgrounds. From Bangalow you can get back on the Pacific Highway north towards the Gold Coast or south towards Ballina.
Bexhill to Clunes - Driving Directions
Depart Bexhill on Bangalow Rd heading towards Clunes just 10 mins away.
Clunes There are some beautiful examples of North Coast federation houses & early Australian church architecture in Clunes. Once a staging post on the Lismore to Bangalow Road, Clunes is said to be the birthplace of the area’s dairy industry. The Clunes General Store, Cellars & Cafe is a handy little place, it is a post office, liquor store & serves delicious gourmet food and smoothies. Open Mon to Sat 6am -7pm, Sun 7am-7pm.
