TRIMLESS MADE EASY A-Line has partnered with an industry leader in drywall fabrication, to offer a program that provides the flawless trimless look that you desire while minimizing concerns surrounding installation. Fixtures are not always designed for easy installation into drywall. PrecisionPro reduces the amount of manual labor required by providing a high-quality custom drywall panel for downlights and a channel for track that installs like any sheet of drywall.

HOW IT WORKS Manufactured in a climate-controlled drywall factory, trimless products can now be specified with a PrecisionPro Drywall panel for downlights, or channel for track. With the same installation process as regular drywall, these panels/channels have sloped edges to ensure there is a seamless finish when feathering the mudding. Channels can be joined together to accommodate long runs of track.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 1 Using drywall screws, mount the PrecisionPro drywall panel/ channel to the building’s frame. A metal backing plate on the drywall provides added support when mounted.
2 Install drywall around the PrecisionPro drywall. Note: PrecisionPro edges are sloped for easy taping and smooth mudding.
3 Install the fixture. For downlights use the spring clips or adjustable mounting brackets, depending on the fixture, to hold in place. Track will screw into the drywall as though it is being surface mounted. Be sure the drywall screws go into the integrated metal backing plate.

TRIMLESS MEETS FIRE RATINGS In order to comply with fire rating standards, select the PrecisionPro 5/8" drywall channel. Ask your installer to cut & install a second layer of 5/8" drywall around the PrecisionPro drywall channel with a staggered seam for a 2-hour fire rated solution. A-Line’s PrecisionPro drywall program is the only solution to have trimless, fire-rated track!

Available in three unique shapes with 90 CRI, FOSSIL is a pre-formed plaster fixture that easy-installs into a building’s frame with the surrounding drywall for a seamless finish.
