Car swiped from 7-11

A woman visiting 7-11 in Bethpage had her car stolen when she went into the store and left her car running in the parking lot.

According to Nassau County Police, on Wednesday, March 15, at 8:10 a.m., a 61-year-old female victim parked her Honda CRV in the parking lot of 7/11, located at

4220 Hempstead Turnpike. The victim left her car running while she was inside the store. When the victim returned to the parking lot an unknown subject had removed her vehicle and fled the scene in an unknown direction. The investigation is ongoing.
