2:00 p.m.: Hybrid ~ Nassau County Historical Society presents Long Island and the Gilded Age with Paul J. Mateyunas, Historian and AuthorTravel back in time to the days of the Vanderbilts, Whitneys and Astors to learn about the homes, parties and real life personalities that inspired Edith Wharton, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and others who created countless novels, programs and films about this interesting time in America. This talk will also delve into the latest series being filmed on Long Island, HBO’s historical drama, “The Gilded Age.”
Paul J. Mateyunas is a noted North Shore historian and author. His expertise in art, design and architecture, let him to write two books on Long Island estates, curate exhibitions, and often lecture on Gold Coast estates. He is a restoration consultant and estate realtor, with a passion for architecture and history.

7:00 p.m.: Teens ~ The Digital SAT: All You Need to Know with The Princeton Review - The College Board has announced a significant change to the SAT: it will become a computer-based test in the 2023–2024 academic year. In this presentation delivered by an expert from The Princeton Review, we will discuss what’s changing on the SAT, what’s not changing on the SAT, and what a digital SAT means for students.
